Aaliyah loved stuff animals, she and her brother had matching orangutans given from her grandmother with Alzheimer's, her brother Rashad's was called Lil', and Aaliyah's was called Lina. Lina made a cameo appearance in Romeo Must Die in the scene were she's sleeping with her stuffed animals, Aaliyah is holding him in her arms. She went to sleep every night with him so he grandmother is always with her. When asked by a fan on Twitter what happened to Lina, Rashad responded with:
'It's by her side.'
Meaning it's buried next to her in the casket.
