Chapter 11

3:10- blocked😚.

I threw my phone across the room it hit the wall and fell to the floor.

"Fuck!" I yelled as I stood up and walked out my room

I made my way towards the steps and walked downstairs. I recently bought a new house it's about a 40 minute drive from my moms and pops crib it's in more of a white people community so it's unexpected. I went on YouTube on my TV and blasted my music as I sat down and lit a blunt.

"Had a knife in my back when I wrote this shit, I looked back and I laughed when I noticed it" I rapped as I rolled up my blunt

Laila's POV

"She's so adorable" David said as he played with Lyla

"No!" She snapped as she pulled her toy out of his hand

"Be nice" I said as I tapped her hand

She looked at me with a glare. I smiled at her and picked her up she fussed. I kissed her over and over again and she started laughing and smiling.

"Come on lets teach her how to walk" David said as he sat down on the floor

"Okay" I said as I smiled and sat down as well

I stood her up on her two feet and she held her balance. She then bent her knees and sat down Me and David laughed as I tried to stand her on her feet but she kept falling back down.

"Baby stay up. You want candy?" I asked as I stood her on her feet

She quickly nodded. David picked her up and stood her up in front of him.

"Walk to mama" he said as he helped her keep her balance

She held her toy in her hand and took one step. She took another before falling on her bum. I clapped as I smiled and picked her up she smiled and clapped to. I kissed her and she wrapped her arms around my neck. I then stood her up and held her hands.

"Walk to David" I said as I let go of her hands

She took one step then followed by another. She took two more steps and then leaned forward falling in his arms. He laughed as he lifted her in the air and she smiled. I recorded it and posted it on my Snapchat story.

"Good job baby" I said as I crawled over to her and David

"How much months is she again?" He asked me as he looked at me

"9 months and 1 week" I said as I picked Lyla up and stood up

"Right" he said as he stood up

He stared at me and I stared back at him. Usually when Kaleb stares and me I look away cause he makes me feel giddy and blush. But for some reason I stared back at David.

"Your so beautiful Laila" he said as he reached for my hand

"Thanks" I said as I kissed his cheek and made my way out of my room

He followed behind me as I walked downstairs.

"Can you hold her well I get her apple sauce?" I asked David as he sat on the couch
