Chapter 7

Ariana's Pov

Me and shawn have been stuck in the elevator for about an 2 and a half hours now. he's tried to talk to me a lot but I've just acted as if he doesn't exist.

"No,No,No,NO." I said as my phone started shutting down, "and its gone."

"Are you going to talk to me now?"

"No." I said crossing my arms.I looked up to see him smiling

"YOU SAID SOMETHING!" He cheered.I couldn't help but smile at his cuteness.

"Don't push it Mendes." I smirked "Well what do you wanna do?"

"Lets play..20 questions." he said with a creepy smile

"Okay, you first."

"Virgin?" he smirked

My face must've been as red as a tomato.

"Why is it that every boy asks that in this game?" I said laughing trying to avoid the question

"Because we like to know." he said laughing, "Now, answer." I just sighed in response and he give me a look

"yes." I mumbled

"Really?" he surprisingly looked shocked. I just slowly nodded my head

"How about you?"

"Yeah." him? a virgin? how could he be a virgin hes so- never mind.

"Surprised?" he asked

"Kinda." I laughed

The game consisted of boring and bland questions like favorite color, middle name, and all that.

We were down to the last questions and it was my turn. I thought hard and something came to mind.

"Why didn't you kiss me during truth or dare?" I said looking down avoiding eye contact

I heard him sigh "I had a feeling this would come up. look Ariana, it's not that I didn't want to kiss you.. Believe me I do, a lot. it's just that I didn't want our first kiss to be a dare and in front of all the boys. I wanted it to be special."

I met my eyes with his, "you humiliated me." I whispered

"Im sorry, I really am. I like you a lot ariana."

Now that caught my attention.

"I like you too." I smiled

"Now my last question.. will you please forgive me?" he asked taking my hand in his.

"Of course." I giggled

Shawn's phone started ringing and I quickly looked at the caller ID. Bart. Shit.

"Hey Bart how are you doin?" shawn said nervously

"How am I doing? let me think two of the Magcon people are no where to be found, could you explain that to me shawn?" Bart said sounding stressed

"Bart me and ariana have been stuck in the elevator for over two hours. were just as worried as you are" shawn laughed

I couldn't hear what Bart was saying after that but it consisted of lots of yelling and a scared looking shawn.

"Okay, bye." shawn said hanging up

"Is he mad?" I said already knowing the answer

"Very." Shawn sighed

About 45 minutes later the elevator started back up again and brought us down to the lobby

I watched the elevator doors open and I ran out screaming "IM FREE I CAN BREATHE." I hugged one of the firefighters out of excitement and when I released him I saw Bart standing there with his arms crossed, tapping his foot running out of patience.

"Lets go! we don't have lots of time until the show starts!" he said dragging me and shawn behind him

We walked to the entrance of the door were supposed to run out of when our names get called.

I watched as all the boys jogged out to the stage and heard the most screams for cam and nash.

I was last and sort of speed walked to the stage but still hugged and took pictures with some fans.

We all took a seat on stage and just goofed off until the performances started. The first one was jack and jack, then a special guest Jacob Whitesides, then Taylor and Dillon, then Shawn.

We were all backstage waiting for Taylor and Dillon to finish up. I took a seat next to Shawn an listened to him tune up his guitar and do vocal warmups.

"So your singing Life Of The Party?" I asked

"Last. First I'm singing Say Something and Sweater Weather."

"Should be fun." I smiled

"Mhm." he said smirking

"Why are you doing that?" I asked

"What?" he said still smirking

"The smirk." I said crossing my arms

"You'll see.." he said walking

Oh god.
