Chapter 5

Ariana's Pov

I looked in the mirror and saw shawn was standing in the doorway watching me

"Do you mind?" I said

"Nah I'm enjoying the view." he smirked while checking me out

I scoffed and turned around

"Can you dance?" I asked him

"Not one bit." he laughed "Can you teach me?"

Why does he have to be so fucking attractive and cute that I cant function properly. My heart starts beating really fast and I become really self conscious and nervous.

"Um yeah" I said while walking over to my IPhone 5s and hit shuffle, Stay High started playing.

I walked over to him and I started showing him some moves. while we were dancing it started getting pretty sexual you could say.

we were grinding on each other and he spun me around. we looked into each other's eyes for a good minute and he started leaning in, that is until we heard loud footsteps coming down the hall.

We quickly pulled away but the song was still playing when all the boys walked in so they seemed a little bit suspicious

"What are you guys doing in here. Together. Alone." nash smirked

"Uh-um-" I stuttered

"She was just showing me some dance moves." Shawn quickly said while rubbing the back of his neck

"Okay.." nash said giving both of us a look

I looked at Taylor and he was already staring back at me.

He mouthed the words "Your telling me later." I just smiled and nodded my head

Let Magcon day 1 practice begin.

"Obviously I'm better." Carter said getting in my face

"Prove it. Buddy." I said while lightly pushing him.

Me and carter were currently arguing about who's a better dancer, and I think I just challenged him to a dance off?

"Mahogany give me a beat." he said not breaking eye contact with me.

Some dubstep song started playing and carter starts dancing..really good.

When the song was done I saw nash run up to mahogany and whisper something in her ear and then come over to me

"I requested a song just for you." he smirked and then slowly backed away.

Okay?

Booty Had Me Like by Round2Crew started playing

I just laughed and gave Nash a look, then started dancing. All the boys were just smiling and rooting me on.

I looked around the room at all the boys reactions and noticed Shawn wasn't here.

It was obvious I won the dance battle and when the song was over all the boys piled me in a group hug.

"Suck it." I said to carter then grabbed my stuff and walked out.

I went up to floor 15 and walked down the hall to my room. I stopped in my tracks when I heard music playing and angelic voice singing behind the door I just walked by.

I backed up and slowly turned the knob to peek in. it was a sound booth with a small couch and a vending machine.

I looked at who was singing and saw it was shawn. I leaned my ear against the door more but I must've done it too much because I lost balance and fell flat on my face.

Shawn stopped singing and looked up from the sheets of music he was singing from.

He came out from the sound booth an I looked up and have him a nervous smile.

He was trying to look mad but just rolled his eyes and smiled.

"Eavesdropping huh? I never saw you as that type."

"I was not eavesdropping I was just listening to you singing. and damn boy can you sing." I laughed

"Thanks, I bet you can too." he smiled

"Nah its not really my thing..so what were you singing?"

"Well I've been trying to start writing my own material but I don't really know.. it's not really coming out that great and I have writers block." he said

"Let me see." I said taking the papers out of his hand "Life of the party? I like it."

I read through the lyrics and he only had the chorus done, but it was still really good. Shawn grabbed his guitar and the papers out of my hand and took a seat on the couch.

I must've been blushing like crazy.

"Can you help me finish the song?" he asked

"Of course." I smiled

We were in the room for hours finishing the song. It came out great.

"Ya know your the first person to ever hear me sing." I told him

"You have a beautiful voice Ariana. I'm not even just saying that, your going to be really famous one day. You just have to put yourself out there."

I just smiled and stood up from the couch

"Want anything?" I asked pointing to the vending machine

"No thanks" he said

"Alrighty"

"I think I'm going to preform my song at the show." he told me

I jumped up and down clapping my hands "really?!" I squealed

He nodded his head laughing

I ran over and engulfed him in a big hug

"Cant breathe." his muffled voice said

I pulled away but he grabbed me and placed me on his lap. We stared into each other's eyes again just like in the dance studio. and he started leaning in and I did too

But once again we were interrupted by loud footsteps in the hall

"Why must we always be interrupted?" he groaned

I just smiled and hopped off his lap, "C'mon shawn." I said pulling open the door

He stood up and followed behind me. he soon caught up and placed his arm around me

"We should do this more often."

"Do what?" I said looking up at him

I looked so short compared to Shawn, I'm 5'2 and he's like 6ft.

"Spend time together. just me and you. I really like hanging out with you." he smiled looking down on me

"Yeah we should." I smiled back

We continued walking down the hall to the boys room.

All the boys were crowded around in a circle

"You guys came at the perfect time we were just starting a good game of Truth or Dare." nash said

I looked at a smirking Taylor
