She leaned forward and kissed him in response, he felt his other hand grip her waist. She should stop, Lana felt her subconscious telling herself that she couldn't be doing this right now. That she should be kissing a boy this good-looking in his bedroom at a party.
But, she didn't stop.
Her own hands wandered to his back, and she felt firm muscle against her palms. His calloused hands gripped her hips and pulled her onto his lap. She flushed, how did a gentle kiss lead to her on him? He felt his hands over her hair, and she was grateful she washed it before coming here.
"You smell nice." He murmured, and up close-Lana saw specks of green lurking in his eyes.
"Thanks." Lana smiled, "You smell good too."
She wasn't lying. He smelled like alcohol of course, but it wasn't overbearing. She could still smell the cologne he used on himself.
Lana let her hands rest on the nape of his neck, his dark blonde hair brushing against her hand.
Her eyes trailed down, and she saw the hickeys on his neck. Reality came crashing down on her.
Veronica.
He was dating her. And here Lana was, kissing him and sitting on him like he was hers.
She got off him quickly, watching worry wash over his face.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"You're with Veronica." Lana explained, shaking her head.
"She cheats on me all the time."
Lana scowled at him, "What?"
"She cheats on me. She acts like I don't know, and then I eventually find out-"
"It doesn't make it okay to cheat on her-"
Sebastian seemed a little lost in thought, "I guess you're right. I've never cheated on her before."
Lana sighed, "I always mess everything up, don't I?"
Sebastian stood up, and shocked Lana as he wrapped his arms around the small of her back.
He stared at her, in amazement, "You didn't fuck up. What happened tonight wasn't fucked up."
Lana blushed, he made it seem as if they had sex. When all they did was kiss for what seemed to be only 5 minutes. Sebastians' hand brushed back her short hair behind her ear, letting his hand linger there for a second.
"You're a good kisser for never kissing anyone, Prince."
"Thanks." She felt her heart do palpitations in her chest, she's never felt this way- ever.
He leaned forward, as if to kiss her, but Lana pulled back. "You're with her."
"I know. But, there's something about you Lana. You're just so different."
Chris was right. Lana Prince was a heartbreaker. And if she kept this going, she was going to break Sebastian, and Sebastian will break Veronica.
"I think I should go home." Lana said softly, walking towards the door.
"Lana-"
She didn't let him finish, as she walked outside of his room-hurrying down the stairs. She needed to find Chris through the hoards of people. Lana had to get away from Sebastian. He was luring her in with a cute face and charming words, and she just shouldn't be lured in that easy.
She saw Chris, with a red solo cup in one hand, and what seemed to be cocky confidence in the other. He was chatting up with a boy. How easy must that be? To flirt without tension?
