Welcome to Small Stories, Big Worlds, my collection of science fiction short stories. Since I draw inspiration from contests throughout the Wattpad community, sub-genres vary.

Endnote

June 19 Notes

I've entered Small Stories, Big Worlds into the Wattys. I never would've dreamed of trying to compete in the short story form, but this was one of my first successful projects on Wattpad; so I owe my confidence to my readers. Thank you.

September 18 Notes

I have stories and free writes from my days in creative writing classes, so while most of Small Stories, Big Worlds is inspired by contests, I've also shared a few older stories in this collection.

Each entry is an independent story, ranging from 100 (drabble) to 5,000 words (the threshold before a novelette).

October 18 Notes

I never imagined how many readers would add Small Stories, Big Worlds to their reading lists!—or that my Summer Adventures contest entry would take 1st place for English entries.

I'm touched by everyone's interest in my short story collection; honestly, I didn't think I was the short story type. So thank you for helping me realize I can make small stories others appreciate!

Author notes will be included at the bottom of each story to help me track my process.

Shall we begin?
