nightfall
the Beatles playing softly on the stereo
hung up on her thoughts
his voice rang in her head
loud, clear and alarming
hands are shaking
trying to pen her thoughts to thin air
"I'm sorry."
she whispered into the night
the air thickened
swallowing
kissing her words into silence
reaching out
her pen in hand
as she scraps her demons
her mind
her heart
her well-being
sunshine
the Beatles playing softly on the radio
her thoughts pristine clear
"Hello, again."
