I dragged down all my suitcases and boxes and wiped my tears the day was finally here the day we were leaving our old life behind in little old Ireland and moving to Australia to start a new life, I looked around my house feeling tears come down my face, I wiped them and answered the door to my granddad and nana who were dropping us to there airport because they had a huge car and could fit all our suitcases and everything in them, We drove to the airport and before we went through security we said our goodbyes saying goodbye to my nana and granddad was the hardest part because ive always had them next to me since I was born and now they wont just be beside me but on the other side of the world, I hugged them and started to cry they did the same I looked back to them from the top of the line to go through and could see my graddad crying his heart out that’s when I started again, even my mam and brother started I couldn’t believe we were actually leavingL
On the plane had to be the most boring trip we ever had to take when we finally arrived we got out of the plane to a gust of warm breeze as it was summer over here in Australia, we picked up our suitcases and got a taxi to our new home I couldn’t bear thinking about everything at home without crying, we finally got to our new home in a nice looking neighbourhood, the taxi stopped and my mam got out and opened the house door, while my brother was helping me with the heaviest suitcase, Come Look!! She shouted, causing my brother to drop the suitcase and run into the house, THANKS YOU GUYS WHAT ARE FAMILY FOR YENO LOVE YOUS! I shouted in, I bent down to pick up the suitcase, as I was coming up I look up to see a boy around 17 standing on front of me, You need some help with that? He giggled, I look into his eyes and fell in love with them they were big and brown and just looking into them you get distracted, um, sure thanks that would be great I blushed and said, you must be our new neighbours, we’ve all been expecting you for awhile, he said taking the suitcase out of my hands, I’m Jai by the way I live just there, he said pointing to the house two doors down from mine, nice to meet you im Lauryn we just moved here from Ireland, I smiled and brought him into the new house, you already made a friend? You work fast don’t you, my brother messed with me, and it’s a boy of course he messed again, sorry Jai this is my brother Liam hes a bit annoying, I said turning to jai, he laughed hi im Jai nice to meet you, said taking a step towards my brother, I’m Liam I guess he laughed and walked into the next room, he shouted back oh nice to meet you too Jai, Jai giggled. You can put the suitcase down just there if you like, Liam can take it from here I guess J, my mam walked in and looked at Jai, You’ve already made a friend told you everything would work out, I raised an eyebrow, Hi, I’m Lauryns mam Gabby, she put out her hand for him to shake, I’m Jai nice to meet you me and my family live just two doors down the road if you ever need anything just call, he shook my mams hand and made his way to the door, I walked up with him, I laughed a bit my families a bit odd don’t mind them. Isnt that what makes a good family? He smiled. Well I better go he said walking out the door before turning back, Hey Lauryn, I’d love to get to know you more because your um my new neighbour so can I have your number so I could text you or something, after swapping numbers he walked away I closed the door, my heart was pumping and I couldn’t stop smiling, Hes a charmer, I heard my mam say, any boy I hang around with you always say that me and Jai are just friends we only just met eachother, I started to say, He’s very handsome alwell don’t you think she joked, I sighed and carried everything up to my new room, I opened the door and took a step into my room with a beautiful view and about 3x bigger than my old room, I started to fix everything to make it nice, after a while when I was done and everything was sorted, I collapsed on my bed falling asleep, I woke up the next morning to a banging on my door, I ran down and answered it, it was a tall man carrying Charlie, he had to come over after us because he couldn’t come on our plane, I took Charlie and closed the door, CHARLIES HERE!!! I shouted, mam and brother ran down to him, Charlie was as excited as ever, hes always excited but not this excited, I ran upstairs and checked my phone and had 1 message:

Me: Yeah! Id love that im sure im not doing anything anyway, nothing really to do haah when abouts suits you?:D xx

Me: sure thing can you call to my house I just have to get ready like dressed and all :D xx

I quickly went and got changed putting on my peace sign top and tucked it into a pair of denim shorts and threw on my pair of grey ankle converse and brushed my hair straight down into a middle parting, only putting on a bit of eyeliner mascara and lipgloss, I walked down stairs into the kitchen where my mam was trying to fit everything into place, Mam Jai said that he’d bring me out to show me around can I go? I asked, Of course you can, im glad your getting on well and its only our first full day have fun, she said with a huge smile on her face, I heard a knock at the door and went out to answer it but noticed my brother answered it already, I was disappointed that I didn’t get to answer it to Jai but I walked out of the kitchen, Lauryn Jai is here and hes looking for you,he shouted at me, I walked out, I know and laughed and waked up to jai, he was wearing a blue polo, dark jeans and white vans, he smiled at me, we walked out the door and walked down the drive, So tell me about where you come from and your life back at home, he started to say, well not much to say im from Dublin a small part in Ireland and well I loved my life occasionally from time to time, but this year has defiantly been the hardest of my life, but for some reason when I met you I suddenly forgot about all that, I said, did I actually just say that out loud, hes gunna think im some crazed weird girl only looking for a boyfriend or something, I know what you mean, everything kind of changed when I met you, he said and smiled and looked at the ground, he said the same but he couldn’t like me we’ve only known each other not even a full day, Cop on Lauryn you don’t know him properly but hes so cute and his eyes oh my god his eyes are just….. I have to snap out of it, we started talking about school and stuff he told me he was going to ask could I be in his class because I was moving to his school, he showed me around a lot of cool places we stopped up by a park, I saw him walk over to the same height as him tanned dark haired very nice looking boy, Lauryn this is Skip well his real name I Daniel, Daniel this is Lauryn she just moved here from Ireland she lives just two doors down from us, Jai continued, Nice to meet you, I’m sure we’ll become close as im close with jai and it looks like yous two are too! He raised an eyebrow and laughed, I giggled not realizing what he said, nice to meet you too Skip I mean Daniel, I said getting nervous, Well I have to go ive got a footy game and I have to warm up, he said, GoodLuck! I said smiling, thanks he said looking back at me and smiling, Skip ran off and me and Jai ran off continuing to talk about life and how everything will be hard for me to get used to it, we finally got home and he left me to the door, Well I’ll text you later I guess he said reaching out his arms to hug me, we hugged eachother, he smelt like the David Beckham aftershave it was yummy, I really liked him but I didn’t even know him a day and I don’t have a clue how I like him so much, I walked into the house and my brother was standing there making kissy noises with my mam, I shuck my head and walked by them, strolling into the kitchen, so what did you and Jai do my brother asked, Well we just walked around and he introduced me to his friend Skip well Daniel and hes into football hes kind of like you I guess, Ill bring him round sometime for you to meet, I said to him, walking up my stairs into my room, I sat on my bed looking out the window, I smelt like jai (Not that im complaining or anything) I opened my laptop and went onto twitter and tweeted “Just had the most amazing walk with my new friend Jai, Australias not as bad as I thought” and closed my laptop, I looked at my phone no text no call no nothing, what about dad I thought he would text me or at least call once we got here, I dropped my phone on the bed and started to brush my hair because I was bored, My phone went off, I looked at it 1 message:
