Scenario 1:
Geno was trying to get out of the save screen as he was stuck for a long time,
when he gets out he comes across reaper.
reaper was friendly to him but geno was scared to trust him to not get stuck again.
Scenario 2:
Reaper was trying to do his job coming across geno as he was ordered to reap him but he doesn't because he felt something weird as he was close to him.
It was the feeling of hurt as geno had been stuck so long he had gotten desperate for a way out.
