.How it ALL Started.

I just wanted to talk to Middy today one on one. I see Julian trying to start some issues, but at the end she don't have to know.

Her head was buried into my chest as I stroked her hair. She was running her hands under my shirt, smoothly against my skin.

"I want to know what happened at your father's funeral"

She looked up at me and sighed. "Do you really?"

I nodded as I placed both my hands behind my head. She pulled the sheets over us and got comfortable.

"Well, my mom didn't want to see me at all a-" I cut her off

"Why wouldn't your mom not want to see you?"

"She said I killed my father. I didn't know what to say. She said that my dumb behind going to jail caused him to get into a car accident which messed up his leg and now he's dead" she sighed with frustration.

"You can tell me anything. I WON'T tell a soul." I said placing one hand on her arm, rubbing it.

"I know I've been avoiding your questions, but I'm ready to answer them. I've been living in the dark for to long"

I nodded all though she can't see me. I want to know why she decided to be the woman she is today.

"I was trying to get away from the non sense in California, but that didn't help cause at the end of the day I still pity myself. I've always been a problem"

"I don't believe you were a problem when it came to us" I said truthfully. I caused the problems.

"That's different. I'm talking about with my family. I've been the issue since I was young and all my siblings thought I was the reason my mom and dad separated"

"Why did they separate? If they were having issues in bed that can't be your fault"

"That's what I said and everyone snapped on me. I had a smart mouth and I learned things pretty fast. I was my dad's favorite, but my mother hated my guts. He was happy that I took after his skin tone, teeth, the way I dressed and much more . I started to realize that my mom was jealous of all the attention he gave me because I was like his twin" she sniffles.

I can tell that this was a rough subject for her and I don't like to see her cry. "I don't want to make you go ballistic on crying"

"I want to tell you" she wiped her face "Every time my dad went to work, she'd beat me because I was to dark or because my teeth were to perfect. It made no sense how she can hate me when she made me"

"They separated when I was seven, but it was because she found out my dad was a drug dealer. I already knew that because I was invisible to everyone except my dad, so I had time to eavesdrop" she huffed

"When my dad left I wanted to leave to. My mom didn't want him to see us at all after the split, but my dad would always send our cousin over to see us and he would video tape us so my dad can relive being with us"

"One day I followed my cousin out of the house and I was glad to see that he didn't have his car with him. It took us about twenty minutes to get to my dad's location. When he went inside the house I watched to see who opened behind a tree and then I went and knocked the door after catching my breath"

I looked up at the ceiling "So he never realized you were following him?"

"Nope. The man who opened the door said 'There's a little girl at the door' and everyone was shocked especially my dad. He was like 'midnight you walk here?' and I said 'I wanted to see you'. I told him what my mom was doing to me since he left. She was treating me like a slave. I had to do everyone's chores and then I got beat for nothing"
