Parties and bodies

Start from the beginning

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"We have English together." Stiles answered.

We got into the English class and Scott took his seat as Stiles dragged me to his seat and pointed to the one next to him for me to sit in. I sat down and the teacher started his lecture without saying hello.

"As you all know, there indeed was a body found in the woods last night." The teacher started and Scott grins and looks over at Stiles, who is in the desk one row and one column behind him and who winks at him knowingly. I rolled my eyes at the boys before Stiles sends me a knowing smirk, "And I am sure your eager little minds are coming up with various macabre scenarios as to what happened. But I am here to tell you that the police have a suspect in custody, which means you can give your undivided attention to the syllabus, which is on your desk outlining this semester." He finished and I tuned out the rest and started doodling.

I was standing with Scott and Stiles at Scott's locker when Stiles started pushing me towards the new girl I mean I'm new too but still.

"What are you doing?" I growled ready to slam him into a locker.

"Go talk to her you need more female friends all you talk about is your weapons and fighting." Stiles said and I gave him a slight hurt look before covering it up before he noticed.

"No, you just want me to talk to her because Scott's crushing and there's a chance Lydia Martin will talk to her because she's attractive." I snapped.

"Those are some bonuses yes." He said still pushing me towards Allison I think.

"Fine, I'll go talk to a girl." I snapped walking over to her. "Hey I'm Danny, I just transferred today." I said putting on the perfect fake smile holding out my hand.

"Hey, I'm Allison I transfered today too." She said and for a few minutes we talked about nothing but our favorite weapons hers was a bow but not a long bow like mine.

"That jacket is absolutely killer. Where'd you get it?" Lydia said grabbing a bit of Allison's jacket paying no mind to me which I was pleased about.

"My mom was a buyer for a boutique back in San Francisco." Allison answered.

"And you are my new best friend." Lydia said before turning to me and her eyes nearly popped out of her head, "Where did you get your jacket that's not supposed to come out for another two months." She said.

"I ummmm.... I own the fashion company if you want I could get you a jacket." I stuttered.

"Yes!" She yelled causing everyone to look at us, "You two are my new best friends." She said smiling from ear to ear. Just then, Jackson, Lydia's boyfriend, joins us as well. Lydia greets him warmly as he puts his arm around her waist, though it makes Allison and myself feel uncomfortable.

"Heyyy." Jackson greets.

"Hey, Jackson." Lydia purrs before they share a kiss and I shift rather uncomfortably. After a few uncomfortable seconds Lydia pulls away and turns to us.

"So, this weekend, there's a party." Lydia said.

"A party?" Allison and I asked in unison.

"Yeah, Friday night. You should come." Jackson said looking at us.

"I don't really party." I said looking down.

"Uh, I can't. It's family night this Friday. Thanks for asking." Allison whispers embarrassed.

Lydia and Jackson both look disappointed by our responses.

"You sure? Everyone's going after the scrimmage." Jackson said.
