The songs played so loud that I couldn't hear a single other noise: not the sound of my own thoughts nor whatever the boys were saying. It didn't help they had started speaking fully in Korean, so Changbin could understand, but it meant even trying to read their lips was pointless.

I didn't really care too much. The terrible dancing I was doing was fun enough to keep me occupied. Time seemed to fly by and I drank like a fish, the alcohol never seeming to hit me, and the horrid taste of beer started to numb until I couldn't even taste it. Which didn't help slow down my drinking.

Every so often Changbin would meet my eyes and it felt so intense, so I always looked away. I wasn't very good at not being completely obvious about it, however. I'd literally dart my eyes anywhere else but his, even turning in my dance so I wasn't facing him and he couldn't see me. It still felt like he was deliberately looking at me, but maybe that was my imagination.

Then, the alcohol all seemed to hit me at once. It had felt as if I was as light as a feather, bouncing off my toes and feeling like I could almost touch the ceiling. It now felt like it was coming crashing down on me, but that was just the alcohol. Now, I felt weighted, like I had been filled with stone and I could hardly stand straight up never mind jump off the ground. I wasn't sure what to do. It was like I was about to pass out.

My eyelids suddenly were so heavy, my body began to slouch and I couldn't fight it anymore. My legs gave up from under me and I prepared myself for hitting the ground hard. But I didn't. Instead I felt two strong arms catch me, wrapping around my sides, and my body slumped against a chest. I looked up, seeing those eyes I had tried so desperately to avoid.

Over the agonizingly loud music, he tried to say something to me but the music was just too loud and everything was spinning, so I couldn't even try to read his lips. He led me to the kitchen where it was more quiet. I was still slumped against his body, wishing I had the power not to be.

Now I could hear him a little better, although the fact he was speaking Korean was making it hard to understand clearly. “Are you okay?”

“Yes, I'm fine. Just...a little drunk,” I admitted, embarrassed. “What time is it?”

He checked his watch, careful to still hold me up properly. “Two.”

“Everyone was meant to be out an hour ago.”

He thought for a moment, finally saying, “How about you stay in here, have a little break. Me, Chan and Felix will get everyone out. Okay?”

I smiled and told him okay. He led me to a seat, careful to help me onto it slowly. He didn't stop to say anything else, just quicky hurried into the living room. I couldn't help but feel really lucky to have him here, he was my guardian Angel dressed in all black.

I leaned back into the seat, by body still feeling so incredibly heavy. I couldn't help but shut my eyes, sleep coming crashing to me before I could stop it.

“Rose?” I heard, trying to open my eyes but struggling to. I noticed the sound of the music had completely ceased and I couldn't hear any voices. I finally managed to open them, seeing Changbin staring down at me. He gave me a small smile, which I returned and he spoke again. “Everyone is out. Are you staying here?”

I tried to stand up, still feeling weighted down, so I almost collapsed again. Changbin tried to catch me, but I managed to hold onto the table and keep myself up. “What time is it?”

He looked down at the watch, “Almost three.”

I almost choked when he said that. I was planning to be home far earlier than that. I tried to get up again, Changbin quicky coming to help hold me up. I looked up at him, feeling embarrassed having to have him hold me up. I'm never going to drink again!
