Connor sat on his bed scrolling through his contact list, his empty contact list. He heard Zoe and his parents talking about some 'shooting star' or something like that. "Cool..." Zoe mumbled, sarcastically but loud enough for Connor to hear her from across the hallway. What is such the big deal? They are literally just fucking rocks. Connor thought to himself as he walked out of his bedroom and walked into the kitchen. He was trying not to make eye contact with Zoe or his parents, Connor grabbed a glass of water and tried to be unseen as he went back into his room. But that plan failed. "Connor, there are going to be shooting stars tonight. Me and your father haven't seen you very much. Could you please come with us Connor?" His mother asked. "Not a fucking chance." Connor replied, "CONNOR MURPHY! LANGUAGE!" Connor half walked, half stumbled back to his room. Connor grabbed a cigarette pack and a lighter. he opened his window next to his bed and climbed out of it. He pulled himself up onto the roof. He sat down looking at the night sky. He grabbed his lighter and a cigarette from the pack. But before he could light anything, he saw a flash above him. He looked up at the black mysterious sky and saw a shooting star. He couldn't stop staring. The first day of school was tomorrow. He didn't want Zoe to bug him about staying up till three in the morning. So he slid down the roof and into his bedroom. He sat in his bed and before he fell asleep, he realized he left his cigarette and lighter on the roof.

Evan told her, She nodded. He opened the door and walked out onto the cold grass. Evan looked up at the beautiful night sky. He stood there for about ten minutes lost in his thoughts. But nothing happened. He was about to give up looking at the beautiful night sky when he saw a flash. Evan flinched and stared back up at the sky. Evan saw the most amazing thing, a shooting star. My only 'Friend.' is Jared. The only thing he does is talk about how much I loved Zoe Murphy. I mean, she is cute in all but she isn't really my type. I thought. Evan stepped back inside and jumped onto his bed. Tomorrow is gonna suck...
