"die-hard armys"

so basically, every year, we celebrate this thing called buwan ng wika (roughly translates to month of language) in honor of our language filipino. so we spent the whole day celebrating. but at one point the teachers left us alone for an hour and people were just passing around the aux cord in our classroom so i decided to try spiting my class.

there are tons of people in my class who claim to be die-hard armys (those same people like to fangirl over "jungkook oppa's abs" in public) so i tried playing ddaeng in my classroom to see how many people are really what they claim to be.

result? none.

they all said "lol i only know the mvs."

what's worse was that they all said "who's playing the chinese music?" when a) an overwhelming majority of my school is chinese and b) it already got to hoseok's verse and you could hear the trap beats but no, once they heard the oriental instruments, they immediately classify it as "old crappy chinese music".

smh.
