Pulling out his phone from his pocket, Carlos saw a text message from his head of security. As he read the two sentence message, he couldn't help but feel frustrated and mad at the same time.

"What is all this interview business your having with Dena," he angrily whispered as he took his seat beside Rachel.

"Can we talk about this later," Rachel replied sternly as their mother walked by.

Giving his sister the we'll talk about this later look, Carlos then turned his attention to the other people in the room.

As the dinner progressed Carlos found out that his mother's friend Mary is a Police officer. When Mary told them she's a cop, Carlos couldn't help but smile at Max's surprised reaction. In defense of Max's suprised expression one wouldn't guess Mary's a cop.

"I'm just helping her out, one good deed deserves another, bedsides she wouldn't take the Cheque I gave her," Rachel said as Carlos handed her  a red wine glass.

Getting a nod from Carlos as a reply to what she just said, Rachel left his brother to his thoughts. Despite his brother's calm appearance, she knew he probably told Dan to run a background check on Dena the moment he knew she had Dena interviewed for the lawyer vacancy at the Harrison's law firm.

He should've run a background check on Dena the first time they meet, Carlos thought as he quietly savoured the wine. The vibrating sound of his phone on the table between him and Rachel pulled him out of his thoughts.

"Work," Rachel asked.

"Not sure," he replied as as he looked at the unknown number flashing on the screen.

"Aren't you going to answer it," she asked as his brother placed the phone back on the table.

The message peep from the phone had  him checking the phone again.

Hey buddy, it's me Dena, not sure if you remember me, I'm the one who saved your brother. Need your help.
Location: Westbrook Police station

Suprised and curious at the sametime  Carlos starred at the phone for a minute.

"So who's the message from," Rachel asked as she saw him starring at his phone.

"No one of importance," he replied.

As Carlos got up and walked back into the house, she started second guessing his reply.

Removing the white button on shirt he had on, he tried to ignore Dena's text message which for some reason keeps flashing in his brian. Glancing around the room, Carlos noticed his mother still left his room the way it was when he went off to college. Flunging himself on the bed he threw his phone to the left side of the bed. Running both hands over his face, he let's out a frustrated growl as he drags himself towards the cellphone as the phone's message tone range again.

You owe me, was the text that appeared. Shaking his head at the text, he grabed his car keys from the bed, pulled one of the black t-shirt in the cupboard and made his way downstairs.

"So the message was from someone important after all," Rachel said as Carlos walked pass the living room. Ignoring her comment, Carlos quickly made his way out.

"Tell mum I'll be back later."

Nodding his head in reply, Max watched his brother run out the door then back in again to grab his black leather jacket of the couch.

Driving out his parents driveway Carlos didn't need to set his GPS, his two visits to the same police station when he was in college were quite memorable one's.

"Do you think he'll come," Mary asked.

"He better, it's his brother's fault she's locked up in their," Tim said as he flips the cigarette butt into the bin a few feet away from them. Taking out another one, he was about to smoke the cigarette when he saw Mary starring at him. Taking a big puff off the cigarette, he then quickly leaned in on Mary's face and blew out the smoke. Mary's surprised then mad reaction had him chuckling to himself.

"I will set you and your cigarettes on fire if you ever do that again."

Winking in response to her threat, he turned his concentration back to the cigarette. Sitting down on the road side pavement Mary watch Tim blew smoke rings into the air. Glancing at her phone, she lets out a sign as she noticed that they've being waiting at the police station for over an hour now. How Tim knew this Carlos would show up and her believing him is something, now that she thinks about doesn't has any logic to it at all. A black Mercede coming into the police carpark had her distracted from her thoughts. Tim's nodded response to her looking up at him when the Mercede parked, had her dusting herself as she got up.

About time she met this mysterious Carlos guy that her best friend forgot to mention, only Dena would save someone's life and not tell them she thought.
