It's that time of the year again. When moms will throw a party because their kids are finally leaving, And the kids? Well we hide out in our bedrooms with the curtains closed pretending the dreadful reality doesn't exist. That is until your mom drags you out to do the world famous back-to-school shopping. Thankfully I got all of my shopping done yesterday.
Currently, I am sitting at McDonald's drowning all of my sadness in a hot fudge sundae.
"So what do you say?"
"What?"
"Are you serious? I just spent thirty minutes trying to convince you to come school shopping with me!"
"Sorry."
"So?"
"So what?"
"Will you come?"
"I don't know. I got my stuff yesterday."
"Please! I'll buy you an order of fries afterwards."
"Deal!"
She knew fries were the way to my heart. This was a classic Estella thing to do when she wanted me to join her in shopping for endless hours. I also bribe her with me going shopping with her without any complaints when I need a favor. I guess you learn about a persons weakness after being stuck with a person since the first day of kindergarten. The day I let her borrow my purple crayon because she broke hers. Now here we are two hours deep in shopping.
"I can't find anything!"
"Ella you do realize you have an arm full of clothes in your arms that you haven't tried on yet."
"Fine,I'll go try them on."
"Thank you."
