Magic Trick

Servants Featured: Jeanne D'Arc Alter Santa Lily (Why the absurdly long name...?), Nursery Rhyme, Souji Okita Alter

"Hey, Lily. Rhyme. Majin-san. Wanna see a magic trick?" (Y/N) asked as he approached the two with a blanket in his hands. While Jeanne Lily and Nursery Rhyme were quick to pay attention, Alter was busy eating her dango. Though, she did turn her head his way.

"Alright, keep your eyes on me and don't blink~" he unfolded the blanket and held it out in front of him, leaving only his head visible. (Y/N) gave one last grin towards his Servants before throwing the blanket over his head.

When the blanket fell and reached the floor, Lily and Rhyme were surprised that their Master was gone!

"Woah! Master's gone!" Lily shouted in awe and broke the brief silence. Rhyme looked equally as shocked at the disappearing act.

"...!" Alter, in the meantime, dropped her dango due to the shock and stared wide-eyed at the spot where (Y/N) was just a second ago. Soon, seconds turned into minutes and no sign of (Y/N) reappearing.

"Master? Master?!" Lily called out, looking around the room for any sign of him.

"Where are you? Where'd you go?!" Rhyme checked the hallway, only for it to be completely void of anyone.

'Where is he?! Where is he?! Where is Master?!!' Alter was also searching for him, yet she was a bit more frantic in doing so. She even went as far as to pick the blanket back up and toss it in the air to see if it'd cause (Y/N) to reappear. It didn't.

The search continued for two full minutes. No sign of their Master and it brought Rhyme and Lily to tears.

"Uaaaahh!! Masteeeeerrr!!"

"Come back, Masteerrrr!!"

Alter sat in a fetal position with a spotlight shining down on her. You can practically see the word 'depression' (うつ病) hanging over her head.

'Master is gone... Master is gone... Master is gone...' her mind repeated like a mantra as she rocked back and forth. The waterworks stopped when the trio of Servants heard uproarious laughter coming from... the bookshelf?

"Ho-ho-holy crap!! Ah, your reactions were priceless! I never left the room," (Y/N) said between laughs, emerging from behind the bookshelf.

Rhyme and Lily quickly turned their heads towards him and their mouths opened wide. Despite still being teary-eyed, the clapped in amusement.

"*sniffle* That's amazing, Master!" Lily bounced in her spot.

"So cool..."

"Sorry about that, though. I didn't think you'd actually start crying..." the young man walked over and patted the little ones' heads.

"Master!!" He didn't get a chance to move away when he was suddenly tackled into a bear hug by Alter. She started nuzzling his neck as she put her full weight on him, which didn't amount to much since he was still standing.

The other three present could only stare at the behavior that Alter was displaying...
