Son Of Thanatos -DISCONTINUED-

I was walking home one day when I noticed a dog coming after me. It jumped on me, and that's when I realized it wasn't a dog, or at least not a normal one. It looked like it was dead... It was definitely not alive.

A rock came out of nowhere and hit it between the eyes, and it turned to yellow dust.

Whoever threw the rock shouted, "Run!". As I got up, I saw at least three more, so I ran, faster than I'd ever run before.
I ran to my house, where I entered to find my mom dead on the floor. A note read, "go to Camp Half-Blood",

but I didn't know what that meant. Deciding I was going to gather supplies for a journey, I grabbed a loaf of bread, two cans of oranges, pears, and peaches, and about three changes of clothes for the journey. Then I ran, I ran into the forest, until my legs hurt and I could barely move. I lay down, using my backpack as a pillow, and slept.
When I woke up, I ate some bread and continued running until midday. I took some time to catch my breath and I ate more bread, but just then, I saw a hellhound, so I continued running. When I finally stopped, it was getting dark, and I sat down. The ground was a little wet, but it didn't bother me much.

I sat there and counted my money, which amounted to $27.33. I put the money back, and, deciding I should eat more, took the bread out, but then I heard something in a nearby bush. I walked over to it, and something tried to jump on me, so I leaped, and found that I was suspended in mid-air. "What the hell.... How am I still in the air?" I didn't know at the time, but I was flying, or floating, or whatever you want to call it.
I gently floated to the ground when I heard a pop. I looked around and saw a sword floating in front of me. I took it, and saw that it had a letter on it reading "from dad". I was shocked. I had never even seen my dad before. And now he gives a sword to me? I decided to climb into a tree, since sleeping on the ground is dangerous, and I drifted off to sleep.
