Tyler's POV:

"Tyler, calm down! It'll be ok," Zoe assured me.

I was standing outside the gate for flight 238 with all my other YouTube friends. We were all waiting for the boy whom none of us had talked to in four years. The boy who was beside himself with grief. The boy broken beyond repair, and it was because of all of us.

Before you go on about how we're all jerks, just let me explain.

*Flashback*

"Did you see the way he rushed in to meet us?" Louise asked. It was the last day of Vidcon and we were sitting in my hotel room, talking about Troye.

"I know," Zoe said. "I feel so bad. He always rushes to meet us."

"He needs to realize that his career should come first," Connor chimed in.

"He almost cancelled a concert at Madison Square Garden just to join us at Playlist Live!" Alfie exclaimed.

"He pays more attention to us than his career," I mumbled. "And it'll really hurt him."

"He won't listen to us if we tell him," Marcus sighed.

We all stayed quiet until I gasped. Everyone looked up at me. "Maybe we shouldn't tell him," I said. "What if he stopped talking to us?"

"But he would never do that," Connor said.

"I know," I said and I grimaced as I said my idea out loud. "But maybe we should cut him off."

"Cut off Troye?" Zoe squeaked as if it was the most ridiculous and evil thing in the world to do (which it was).

"Yeah," I said. "I mean, it's a terrible thing to do, but it's for the best. If we all ignore him, he'll eventually forget about us, and he'll be able to focus on his career."

"But we can't just cut him off without any explanation."

"If we give him an explanation, he'll just take it the wrong way and be depressed," I pointed out. We all stayed quiet and let it all sink in.

"Well," Zoe said quietly. "It won't be easy. Troye's special and none of us want to lose him but...." She looked up. "He's done so much for us, I guess this is the least we can do for him." Everyone agreed and soon everyone started crying. Even the tough guys like Marcus were tearing up. You would've thought Troye died.

In a way, he did to us.

*End of flashback*

The hardest thing was declining Troye's calls and ignoring his texts. When the Vidcon people told us that he had called them worried about us, we all burst into tears again. Then, we all blocked him on all social media. We thought it was for the best, but, boy, were we wrong.

When I heard about his depression and anxiety coming back, my heart shattered. Then, his record label dumped him and he disappeared. I knew all he needed was someone to call him - any one of us. But we were all too scared. Ever since then, we haven't been the same. Sure, we stayed close, but we missed Troye's smug puns and his childish giggles. We missed his beautiful sapphire eyes and innocent smile.

We missed Troye.

So, we decided to surprise him at the gate at Vidcon, to let him know we still cared. Almost all the YouTubers were here. Connor, Zoey, Alfie, Marcus, Hannah, Grace, Mamrie, Caspar, Joe, Louis, Louise, Jim, Tanya, everyone.

"Guys, I think this is his flight," Louise whispered. Everyone grew silent as we all nervously waited for him to walk out. He came out towards the end, looking exactly how we had left him 6 years ago. I immediately spotted his perfect, chocolate brown quiff and sapphire eyes. He looked tired and had his headphones in. He slowly walked out, and then he saw us.

At first, his eyes widened. I swear, everyone took in a breath. Although we were at least 10 yards away, I could clearly see that there were hundreds of emotions running through his eyes. Suddenly, his eyes lowered in a glare and he rushed angrily to the baggage claim. He snatched up his black suitcase and stomped out of the airport without even looking back.

"Sh-should we go after him?" Zoe whispered.

I began to walk towards the exit, but then stopped myself. I turned around and looked at everyone. "No." I felt tears brimming my eyes.
