He smiles sadly before pulling me on top of him and hugging me tightly. "My partner in crime." He mumbles. "Veron, it's only nine months." I laugh slightly. "You could get pregnant and have the baby." I roll my eyes. "You're just like dad. You two should know. My V-card on strong." I push myself away from him.

"Now lets go before we start sharing eye sweats." I pull him up and he lightly ruffles my hair. "DINNER'S READY." I yell as we make our way down the stairs.

"We know the drill by now, Val." Dad rolls his eyes. "What must that be?" I put my hand on my hip and raised an eyebrow. "You make dinner, make someone set the table, leave to get Veron or Vijin, then yell for dinner." Vermont answered.

"No one asked you." I roll my eyes at him. "What did I ever do to you?" He huffs. "Been born." I took my seat. "Dad!" I roll my eyes at him. "Brat."

"Valentine, stop being rude to your brother." I mock him. "Hey! Jamie, you said you wanted to help out?" I smirked. "Yes! What do you need help with?" She smiled widely. "Let's talk after dinner." I tossed a fake smile at her.

"Val, please don't kill my wife." Vijin joked. "Can't make any promises." I mumbled playing with my fork. "What was that?" He asked. "Oh, nothing." I smiled wickedly. "That's enough, Val. The dinner table is Switzerland." Dad warned.

"Is that so? Hmm, then let us all talk about how dad plans on shipping me off to Mystic Falls with Bonnie fucking Bennett." I glare at him across the table.

"Are you serious dad?" Vijin asked staring at dad in shock. "Looks like it's more like Superman VS Batman in here now." I pursed my lips and raised an eyebrow.

"She's been acting out at school, and her attitude is off the charts. I just need her in good hands for a little bit while I straighten some things out." Dad huffs. "Good hands? Yeah right." I laugh out.

"She's a teenager. Teenagers does that. I mean you did! You and mom had me at 18." Vijin pointed out. "And teachers are jealous because she's smarter than them." Veron added.

"It's already been planned. Ticket is paid for and everything." Dad sighed rubbing his forehead. "Bullshit." I hissed out. "You want me gone for some reason. Maybe it's because you never wanted me in the first place? So the obvious reason is to point out my behavior. You want to send me away but not Veron when we have the same 'behavioral issues'. Every damn thing that flies out of your mouth is a load of bullshit." I slam my fork down before walking to my room.

I slam my room door and put my headphones in. I lay in my bed staring at my galaxy ceiling.

Downstairs

"Are you serious right now dad?" Vijin asked. "I can't with her. She reminds me too much of your mother. I tried and I tried for four years. I can't do it." Vindel muttered. By then Jamie and Vermont excused themselves. Jamie to put the children to bed and Vermont to get away from this upcoming argument.

"That's no reason to send her off! She could have stayed with us until everything got better!" Vijin raised his voice. "Lower your tone when you speak to me, Vijin! I am still your father!" Vindel glares at his eldest son.

"You can act like my father but you can't act like Val's father?" He squinted at his father. "What would mom think about this? Honestly, I think she'd be pissed off if you ask me."

"Everything Val said was true. Wasn't it dad?" Veron asked quietly. "I want to leave with her." He spoke louder. "Not until I say so." Vindel ordered. "You go when I say you can go, otherwise you are to stay in this household." Vindel glared at his children.

"Are we your prisoners now dad?" Vincent, the more outspoken and youngest twin asked. Vindel sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm not trying to make it seem like it." He explained.

"You want to separate me and Valentine. For nine months." Veron said for what it felt like the one hundredth time today. "It's not that long Veron." He sighed once more. "Dad, for us it's like forever. You already know we are basically inseparable."

"Son, I understand that. I just need you four to work with me here." He tells them. "Veron, nine months will fly by. Until then, talk and text your sister. I just need some time."

"How long is some time dad?" Victor finally spoke up. "It's longer than nine months, obviously."

"A year tops." He answered reluctantly. "A year?!" The four of the shouted. "What if she doesn't want to come back?!" The twins shouted once more.

"Trust me, she will. She despises Bonnie." He chuckles trying to lighten the mood. Key word. Trying.

"Bonnie won't be the only one she'd despise." Vincent mumbled, only to get hit in the back of the head by Victor. "If she stays then I stay." Veron crosses his arms stubbornly.

"All of you got your mother's stubbornness." Vindel mumbled sadly to himself.

Raleeya was that mother that every child and person loved. She spent time with her kids, worked from home, loved everyone equally. Kind at heart, feisty by the soul, stubborn with all her being.

She fell in love with Vindel because he was the exact opposite of her. Rude, self absorbed, joked when he should have, and he gave up easy. It took a long while for Raleeya to win his heart, and she did. It just seems like she never returned it when she passed.

"When is she leaving?" Vijin asked. "Tomorrow." He hesitated once again. Vindel's children all stared at him in shock. All four of them thinking over the last few hours they had with their 'baby' sister before she was sent to the states. Toronto, Canada to Mystic Falls, Virginia.

Boy was Vindel in for it.
