Chapter 2: Guest

   When my mother opened the door, then first person I saw was a child running in the house and screaming. "Oh, I am so sorry. I'll go get him." Jisoo said, then ran inside the house, after her child. "Go help Jisoo, then show her the room she'll be staying in afterwards." My mom said. I rolled my eyes in aggravation. I don't want to help catch a child I've never met before. I want to see Taehyung, the last time I saw him, was when we were kids. I remember having a huge crush on him, I want see see what he looks like. I wonder if he's still as attractive as I remember. But my mom wouldn't let me see him, in fact see was pushing me and trying to get me to help Jisoo. I soon gave up and headed towards Jisoo and her child.

   After I helped Jisoo chase her kid around the house, I showed her the way towards the guest room. When we made it to the room, she gasped. "Wow. This room looks amazing. Thank you so much for letting us stay here. Your mother is a very kind woman." Jisoo said to me. "Oh, no need to thank us. Just make sure you're comfortable and make yourself a home." I told her. "I am also very sorry you have to share your room with Taehyung. He has... changed lately. But you two were the best of friends when you were younger. I'm very sure you can change him back to his normal self." She said to me. "What do you mean by change?" I asked her. "You'll figure it out later. Just don't let him get to you." She told me.

   "Y/N! Come here and meet Taehyung!" I heard my mother call out from the living room. Jisoo and I made our way towards the living room. "Where's your son?" My mom asked Jisoo. "Woosi? He's already fast asleep. He was really tired" Jisoo said, then softly giggled. "Oh, that's his name. I always forget it. How old is he again?" My mother asked her. "He's six." She told my mom. "Really? He looks like he'd be a little older than that." Mom stated.

   "Anyways..." I said, trying to get off the topic of Jisoo's younger son. "Ah, right. Y/N, this is Taehyung. You're old childhood friend." She said as she gestured a hand towards him. "Hello Y/N. It's been awhile since the last time I saw you." He said.

   He has changed a lot since the last time I saw him. Maybe this is what Jisoo meant by changed? His higher pitched voice had turned deep and low. When he talked it echoed and vibrated throughout the whole room. His lips had become more fuller than before. His facial structure had matured a lot. His jaw line wasn't rounded, it was very defined and sharp now. His shoulders had become wider and his chest is much more buff than before. His legs were longer and the same with his feet, his feet were huge. His hands had also become about twice the size of mine. His skin had been perfectly kissed by the sun. But even though there were many changes, some things stayed the same. Like his nose, it stayed perfectly rounded and soft as I remember. The freckles he had on his face, never moved. He still had one placed right under his right eye and one placed under the tip of his nose. His eyes also never changed. They both were different, one was a mono-lid and the other was doubled. The shape of both eyes were still soft and kind . But the way he looked at me wasn't what I remembered, he used to look at me with kindness, liveliness, and love, but now it was different. He now looked at me with dominance and boredom. And now I understood, this is how Kim Taehyung changed.

   "Hello? Y/N." My mother said, while waving her hand in front of my face. I had shut my mouth that was once agape. "Oh, yes. Nice to meet you too Taehyung. It's been a while." I said to him. "Now go show him where he'll be staying. I'm going to talk with Jisoo and catch up on some things." My mother said, while her and Jisoo made their way to the sofa. "Yes mother. Taehyung, follow me." I said. Then him and I headed upstairs, towards my room.
