there was this belief that soulmates were connected by pain; reason being that pain was one of the hardest feelings to understand , and perhaps feeling it yourself would help understand it easier. every child was cut and scarred in different patterns at birth to enable easier finding of soulmates. some would have one , whilst others would have multiple. every cut , bruise , injury that their soulmate would get , they would receive an injury in the exact same spot where their soulmate had gotten injured. as for inner pain , the pain would be much worse despite the lack of wounds.

as for Park Jimin , he was scarred with a crescent moon on his collarbone. ever since Jimin turned fifteen , he has constantly been cut , bruised , and even occasionally stabbed by thumbtacks. but none the less , Jimin was a beauty. many adored him , and were extremely enchanted by his looks . you either loved him , or wanted to be him , there was no in between. but despite not being true soulmates , Jimin and Jeon Jungkook , president of the student
council , were madly in love . it was a pity that Jimin and Jungkook weren't true soulmates , for it seemed as though they were built for each other .

on the other side of the world , there was Min Yoongi . despite only being 17 , he had experienced many gruelling and gory scenes due to the industry he was involved in. Min Yoongi , son of the world's most sought after criminals. but being on the top , and with a lot of money , the Mins' were untouchable. every common gang in town loathed them , but who were they to judge the reigning royals of the mafia? as he would always be sent out to complete missions and seal deals , it was rare to ever see Yoongi unscathed. soulmates were never on his mind , as he thought that the belief was bogus and hence has always been reckless in his actions , which resulted in him eventually being unbothered by pain. and hence , Yoongi has never experienced love , aside from parental love.

but it was all due to change when Yoongi was sent to Danwon High , where a certain Park Jimin was studying in.
