I smirked and looked away to show I didn't give a shit about him anymore. And there and there, I knew he'd recognised me. Way to go Patience. Good to get yourself recognised by the last person you want to see.

Class ended, and I slowly packed away my books, waiting for everyone to leave for lunch. I walked out and felt someone's presence at the doorway. The person was leaning against the door sill. I didn't need anyone to tell me to know who it was. Hasn't it always been him? Ugh... I turned away and began walking the opposite direction.

"Canteen's the other way" I heard him say in a teasing manner

"And I care because?" I asked, not looking at him

"I'm guessing you've been having a bad day" he said

"Yes, right after I saw you" I said

"That's not what I saw when you were staring at me" he said

"And do I care what you saw?" I said

"What's with the attitude?" he asked, stepping in front of me

"Get out of my way" I said

"Not until you tell me why the hostility" he said

"Ok then" I said and turned around to walk the other way. He chuckled from behind me and began following me to the canteen.

"Well it's good to see that you haven't changed" he said

"Thanks. The feeling's mutual" I said

"What have you been up to?" he asked and I shrugged

"Nothing really" I said absentmindedly

"D'you miss me?" he asked and I froze, my heart doing a skip the way it always used to each time he... nevermind

"What?" I asked and tried to walk faster as he was now walking on my side

"I said, did you miss me?" he repeated

"Not really" I said with a shrug, feeling a slight warmth on my cheeks

"You sure?" he asked

"Why do you care?" I asked, now entering the canteen, letting him lead me to wherever he was going since he wanted to talk to me.

"Because I did" he said and I tensed again, ever so slightly, quickly resuming my posture.

"Really?" I asked without thinking

"Yeah" He said, and a smile fought to come on my lips "you?"

"There was nothing to miss" I said, letting the smile break free

"Really?" he asked

"Yes" I replied

"Not even a bit?" he asked

"Nope" I shook my head

"Well that's a little harsh don't you think?"

"I never was the nice type" I said

"Aw c'mon. You're not mad at me right now... and you're smiling. You have to have missed me a bit" he said

"Nope. I'm just smiling coz I saw someone I know in a new school" I said stupidly and mentally slapped myself

"You missed me" he smiled

"No" I said

"You did. At least a bit anyway" he pressed

"Keep dreaming" I said

"Stop lying. You're bad at it" he said

"Are you gonna give this up?" I asked

"Nope" he said, making a popping sound at the 'p'.

"Fine. I missed you. Now will you give up?" I asked, my heart beating faster as I said this

"No. say it and mean it" he said

"Fine" I said and with a sigh... "I missed you. A bit anyway"

My heart was pounding against my chest by then and I realised, I HAD missed him and now I was falling for him all over again. This seriously had to stop. I looked up, trying to think of something to say at him as he'd had me dazed all over again, but then my eyes met with Nelly's and she was glaring at me.

What the hell?

~~Nelly's POV~~

Ugh she had the guts to look up at me. A smile now on her face, still mixed between emotion, annoyed and happy? Or... to be precise... dazed.

I glared at her when her eyes met with mine then stood up without a word, and walked out of the canteen.

Gosh I'm such a dramaqueen sometimes. But seriously, what would YOU have thought or done, when you saw that?

Am I overreacting?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay guys that was a real question. Is she overeacting? What would YOU do if you saw that happen?

Anyways... thanks for reading.
