Construct: Reverse Eclipse

Chapter 2

The General Clears his throat, attracting our attention, "This all being said, I would like your 2 teams to work well together....you have great promise. Go get some sleep, your construct's paint will be done before we get to Bayonet."

Bayonet, the only base camp on earth for our forces, "Good, but umm General?"

"Yes?" He turns to face me.

"Where are we staying, And when will we meet with our personal Engineers?" I ask.

"I'll explain when we get there." He responds vaguely.

"Oh, okay!" I head back to the hanger with the rest of the team in pursuit.

We later found a common room near the hanger to stay in. After about 7 hours of talking and running simulations, the general walks in again, "Look alive Team Spade!"

"Team what?" Vey says dropping down from a lifting bar and walking over.

"Spades? That sounds interesting, is that our team name?" Zero asks, while playing table tennis with Kaname. The match has lasted 4 hours.

"Could it be from the deck of cards?" I ask walking over to him after putting down a weight.

"So our color is silver and our name is Spades? That doesn't make sense aren't spades normally black?" Yukka asks.

"Yes normally, but you guys are different! Any way! Your team instructor is here!" He announces.

Oh god.... I silently dread, "Who?"

"You all already like him! It's Instructor Creon!"

The old doctor joins us in the room, "You guys need an advisor, one that knows you well. Anyone who didn't would have their hands full!" He smiles at us.

"He will be helping you train together in order to work better together on the battlefield. He will also help your personal strengths as well as building on your weaknesses!"

"Doctor!" Vey yells as she runs over to him.

"Heya Doc!" I yell to him.

"Dad!" Zero yells. Zero loses focus and loses the infinite round of table tennis.

"Hi dad! How's the trip treating you?" Kaname asks while Zero is throwing the ping pong ball at his face screaming, "You cheated!"

"Well, They had my Frozen Solas repainted in the team's colors but now it just looks the same as before....I asked the general but he won't change the team color!" Dr. Creon explains.

"Wow! Frozen Solas!" Zero marvels, "You mean you actually broke it out again!"

"Yeah, i can't be expected to go into the field without a construct, even though i'll be assisting you from base!" He says.

"Aside from the doctor you have 2 new teammates that we think you'll get along with!" The General explains, "Their names are Akatsuki Venus and Sora Zyon! Akatsuki's construct is a long range sniper called Salamander. And Sora's is a mid range model called Yeager! Both are MK IV!"

"No way! They put Sora on our team!" Zero exclaims.

"We knew you'd know him! Last year's number 1 at Silver Spire!" The general responds.

"Sora! He's pretty cool! I always got along with him when we talked in class," I look around, "But I don't know this Akatsuki girl..."

"I do," Kaname looks at me, "She was number 4 last year and won the last simulated battle royal at Silver Spire."
