Construct: Reverse Eclipse

Prologue

The G force almost crushed Venice Yukkara as he made landfall on old planet earth, "Remember team this is reconnaissance, we need to figure out what the hell happened down here!" He yells as the drop ship flies away.

"Got it Saber," Archer responds.

"What the hell man, there's no one down here!" Lancer throws out onto the comms.

"Relax, if i had 5 giant metal mechs drop down from the sky into a city i would be hiding too....These damn pro evolutionists took the earth from us then trashed it!"

"You're the one that needs to take a chill pill Assassin!" Rider says.

"But seriously...where is the welcoming committee? I was expecting at least the army to show up by now. It's been what? 50 years since we were on earth, about 4 years since we last had established contact, you'd at least have expected some new tech...everything looks the same as when we last got an update from them..." Venice notes aloud.

"You've got a point! Maybe they dropped everything and ran after that alien looking ship crashed on earth!" Rider laughs.

"You guys need to get a little more serious you never know when something could jump out at you." Assassin sighs, "Our constructs may be strong but that's only if we see the enemy first!"

"Speak for yourself Assassin! I can take some hard hits! We tested it against imperium!" Lancer says. We fan out in our 2 story Constructs and comb the empty city.

"Imperium huh? The kid who built her is only on MK, what, like 8?" Assassin says sounding genuinely impressed

"It's, VII!" Rider remarks.

"Can it you smart ass!" Lancer says, "Anyway, i know, that kid is gonna go places! But his kind are the only ones! Did you hear, we are running out of living spaces on the moon!"

"Why don't we just use constructs to build more residential areas?" Rider points out.

"Idiot we wouldn't be having this problem if the answer was that easy!" Venice, or Saber, responds.

"So is that why they pushed a military OP down here?" Assassin clearifies.

"Right! The idea was to meet the locals and see if they wanted to reunite humanity. But i'm not seeing any locals..." Rider says reminding the team of the mission.

"Well they'll come out eventually...curiosity killed the cat," Venice says.

"Right...keep looking team, this is for the moon...because apparently we are running out of space. Even though we are in "Space"," Rider remarks, once again.

"Oh god, do you shut up?" Assassin's Construct, Regalia, shakes its head. Most likely mimicking it's pilot.

"Oh, like you're any better. At least i'm not-" Suddenly blaring static shoots through the radio. I turn around to see Rider's construct, Horus, screeching across the now deserted street.

"Rider?!" Venice yells.

"I'm okay," he says through crackling static, "Im not sure what just sent me flying though!"

"Something large, your construct is at least 15 tons with all it's armour!" Lancer says, he pulls his ornate lance off of his back.

"Okay team, Draw command is authorized!" Venice yells as he draws his construct's dual swords.

"On it!" The team yells in unison. Rider stabilises himself and gets up, his construct groaning in protest, "Oh boy..." he pulls down his electrical whip.

"Satellite is up!" Venice yells after testing his map.

"OH! I've got movement in my area!" Assassin yells, "Holy shit! It's fast as the devil himself!"
