Construct: Reverse Eclipse

I'm the 3rd one to get up and turn in the test, I failed it... I think feeling unconfident. I walk out to the Hanger to get Ragnarok and head to the arena for some practice/venting.

I get into arena 6 and start the sim program. Holographic Omega appear as the city scape builds around me. Generally a squad will use these to practice together, but none of my squad members are done yet. I pull the Scythe off of my back and deploy it. Time to vent... I think seeing the "Enemies in bound" warning pop up.

As im fighting Valkyrie turns on, "Ummm Karl are you okay? Your movements are more anger based today," I Stick my scythe into an omega, piercing it and the one behind it. I pick them up and throw them into a nearby building. I follow up by throwing an electrical spear through them pinning the dead omega to the building.

"Really?" I respond sarcastically, "You're in my head right now you know what happened." I say turing to another crowd.

"Yes," She pauses, "By the way it seems doing a group simulation solo has attracted attention."

I swing my scythe, greenish omega blood goes all over the ground, "Yeah, probably the freshman class. Some of them get time off between lectures.

"How many more waves?"

"About 9,"

"Okay, I need to Vent, you can turn off the construct assist," I suggest.

"Sure! Good luck, imma take another nap!" Valkyrie turns off. I start tearing through waves of Omega. None of them are the special class and they don't make live decisions like the ones on the surface. So it's easy to go through them.

9 waves later the simulation disintegrates revealing the small crowd around the monitors that display the match. I walk out of the dome though a large door. exit Ragnarok and drop to the ground. One of the freshman comes up to me. She is a short girl with long brown hair and blue eyes.

"Did you just do that whole team simulation on the hardest difficulty alone?!" She asks, stunned.

"Yes....it's how he vents," Yukka says, "he's the rank 5 at this school. You might know him as the Ace of Spades, because of the spade shaped emblem on his scythe."

"Then you must be Yukka!" She exclaims, "Holy crap! Im talking with the number 4!"

"She's not that much of a big deal," I joke, she hits me on the back of the head, "OW!" The freshman laughs.

"With people like you on the front lines we can end this and get onto earth again!" She claims excitedly, the crowd rallies around her. She must be the Student President of the freshman class! God she is so cheerful...

"Well I wouldn't get your hopes up too high....Plenty of amazing people have died on the front lines," I say thinking of Venice, "But you can bet that we will end this war!" I say, "We can do this, Heros still exist in this world." I walk back over to Ragnarok. Embarking I see the girl looking up at me . Never thought people looked at me like that.

A live stream of Yukka's cockpit appears in the bottom left corner of Ragnarok's vision, "Didn't know you were so popular Mr. Hero," She teases.

"Right, Ms. Number 4!" I shoot back.

She giggles, "Right," She walks up to me in her Construct, Gryphon. You can hear her AI, Mad Hatter, screaming in the background when she speaks, "You wanna do pair team exercises?"

"Sure, im gonna turn up the difficulty, though i'm sure your fine with that," I clarify.

"Sure," The golden and red construct that she's in turns and enters the simulation dome.
