Charlottes POV

~after school~

Elena left me at the Grill to go who knows where . I groan but dont bug her about it & just hug her goodbye .

Elena's POV

People take death easily but sadly thats not me . I sigh walking throught the gates of Mystic Falls graveyard i come here often to visit my parents graves im mostly writing in my journal or just plain thinking about life  .  As i was sitting against one of the stones I suddenly heard a crow and turned around to see nothing there. Weird

Dear diary,I made it through the day. I must have said 'I'm fine thanks' at least 37 times and I didn't mean it.

No one noticed

When someone asks 'how are you?" they really don't want an answer.

I'm oblivious to the crow on top of my parents grave till I hear it and look up "okay hi bird" I say waving at it as if nothing was wrong with it

I continue to write.

Then thats when i happened Fog covers the ground in a haunting way and i look up and see the crow is still there. I get up and shoo away the bird and sigh but suddenly gasp as I see it there on a different stone.

I slowly lean down and grab my bag and start to walk off ,I start to run when I feel like someone is watching me, on my way down I clumsily trip and hit the ground with a thud "ouch" I mumble and stand up and walk backwards.

"You okay?" I hear an turn to see Stefan I sigh of relief.

But I'm confused? "We- were you following me?" I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion he shook his head "no I- I just saw you fall" I scoff in my head sure .

"Uh huh and you just happen to be hanging out in a cemetery" I say serious yet amused "I'm visiting somebody my uh family here" i suddenly feel guilty and look up shocked .

Charlottes POV

"Oh there you are-" oh "uh um am I interrupting something?" I ask as I find Elena talking to the guy from history. They both look at me and shake there heads no "no I just uh-" she gets interrupted "she fell and I asked if she was ok" the guy finished off , I nod and just stand there awkwardly after the awkward silence Elena looks at his hands and says "nice ring" wow really? "uh thanks um it's a family ring... yeah uh kinda stuck with it" hm weird? My lips twist in confusion and i stare at him longer than usual

" it's weird huh" at least he agrees with me , i smile .

"No no it's just a ring and it's not" Elena smiles and he looks at his ring again, i soon smell a rustic metal and my nose scrunches up . Blood. I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion and look around.

"Did you hurt yourself" me and 'Guy' say at the same time , my eyes widening and Elena has a shocked look and so do I and The guy. wow! weird much!? "oh uh i don't know"she bends over and pulls up her jean leg and I scowl and turn around i get sick very easily . ew I see Stefan turn to, I see something that makes my eyes widen & it almost scares me.

His eyes turn a deep red and veins show under his eyes, I look down and see a piece of mirror and almost scream when I see my face do the same. What.The.Hell!! "you guys ok?" I hear Elena ask confusedly . I'm speechless as I take shaky breaths and nod "I-I'm fine" I lie straight through my teeth .

Stefan tries to look at me but I turn quickly my hair putting a curtain around my face "you should go um take care of that"I hear him say "Elena go ahead I'll meet you there ok" i say worried about what'll happen if she doesnt.

"no really it's ok" I get irritated "just go Elena!" I scold, whoa where did that come from?

"Ok ok jeez Charlotte be careful see ya" I nod and wait till she leaves and I look up and Stefan's gone. Whats going on ?!
