A few hours went by and I couldn't stop thinking about how I lied to Lee

I felt so bad because this is really not in my nature

She deserves to know what we were talking about just not right now she's pregnant she'd be too emotional and we had to keep her in a good mood for the sake of this dinner and having everyone around

I was in the bathroom when I heard Lee's mom calling everyone back into the dinner table

As I made my way out the bathroom the sound of a metal utensil hitting a glass filled the room

"Aaleeyah has an announcement to make everyone be quiet please!" Lee's mom tried hushing the crowd

Everyone finally came to a calm, me and Lira eyes connected as we had an idea what Lee might announce

"Well I just want to thank everyone for coming i'm always glad to get the fam together in one room just for eachothers presence or to celebrate something special and in this case, i'm just so excited to share the news to you all that me and Cameron will be expecting another child" She said smiling while tears rolled down her face as she looked at Cameron for a reaction

Tears of joy i'm assuming

I instantly regretted when we pulled Cameron to the backyard to explain to him that baby might actually not be his from the split they had that perfectly matched up to the makings of this baby

The crowd got loud as they were all happy for her and hitting her with slick comments while the look on Cameron's face was obvious this was no surprise to him

He looked semi-happy but still no enthusiasm

Lee frowned not knowing what exactly to say to him as she starred at his blank expression

He walked over to Lee and whispered something in her ear which i'm assuming was that they needed to talk

His reaction was uncalled for this was an inappropriate time to lecture her about who the baby father is but i'm glad he didn't say anything to her yet

She watched as Cameron got his coat from the coat rack and exited the house

Everyone looked around confused as to why he would leave and the crowd was coming to a simmer

I felt guilty to be apart of the reason he walked out on Lee but he's going through a lot right now he deserves to know and that baby deserves to know they daddy no matter circumstances

A few more hours had past by and the dinner was ran short because Lee zoned out and majority of the time she stayed to herself in the living room deep in thoughts I guess

I couldn't help ease her because I know i'd be one of the last people she'd rather talk to right now

She was now escorting guests out

Everyone picked up on her mood but they simply decided that now wasn't the best time to bother her about it

Her parents were the last ones out they sat her down and talked a few minutes about whatnot. Whatever it was Lee seemed to have a lightened up mood after escorting them out

Me, Lira, and Brit had now finished up cleaning and was headed towards the door but we were stopped by Cameron making his way into the house

He brushed past us and headed straight for up the stairs

"Can everyone please make their way to my living room and take a seat"

"I have to go pick Roy up, it's getting late" Lir said before she exited house
