I was laying on the bed with Cam and Mar when my phone rang

I looked at who was calling, August's name showed on my phone screen

I sighed getting up "I'll be back, I have to take this"

Cameron looked at me strange before nodding

I went into the other room answering the phone "What do you want August?" I said sternly

He smirked on the other end of the phone as if something was funny, "Meet me at Waffle House in 30 minutes and dat ain't a question ma" he said hanging up

I rolled my eyes walking back into my room going into my closet

Cam got up walking over to me as I got my pants out to put on "Where you going?" Cam asked rubbing my back

"I have to take care of something, it'll be quick can you watch Mar till I get back? Shouldn't be longer than an hour" I said shrugging walking into the bathroom getting my makeup bag

"So what kind of business do you have to take care of why you're putting on makeup?" He asked suspiciously obviously

I know Cam doesn't trust me ever since he seen Aug in the house, he knows I wouldn't just allow August to come inside unless it's serious

"Stop bugging I love my makeup" I said giggling

He laughed afterward which made me smile, Cam's been stressed lately

I finished applying my lip gloss on my lips before walking over to Cam

I got on my tippy toes pecking his soft plump lips

I picked up my handbag and walked over to Mar "Kisses" I said poking out my lips to her

She poked out her lips giving me a kiss

"Ill be back I love you guys, be good lovebug" I said waving to them walking out the door

"Okay mommy" I heard Mar say from the bed still

I got in my car reversing out my driveway

I made it to Waffle House in 30 minutes and seen August's car already in the parking lot

I walked in spotting August in a seat by the window

I walked over to him sitting in the seat across from his

I blushed looking down not wanting him to realize but clearly I never hid it good enough cause he used his 2 fingers lifting up my chin "Ain't nun changed ma I don't want ta see you having your head down" He said

I slighting pushed away his fingers not wanting to engage in any unnecessary activity "What did you wanna talk about Aug I left my family to come here"

"I want you and Mar ta come on vacation wit me ta Dominican Republic next month" he said

"I don't know Aug ill have to see I don't have time for vacations but i'm sure Mar would love the sound of that" I said shrugging

August fanned the waitress over to us

"Lemme get pancakes wit bacon bits on tha side" August said looking through the menu

She nodded looking at me "And anything for you?" She asked

"Ummm" I mumbled looking through the menu still, "I'll just have grill cheese with scrambled eggs on the side, Thank you" I said smiling at her

"Will that be all?" The waitress asked

We nodded and she took up our menu's

August looked at me and smirked

"What?" I asked looking at him confused

The waiter then returned with our foods handing them out to us, she smiled walking away

"Does ya soon ta be husband know about ya kissing me?" He asked smiling

"I didn't kiss you, you kissed me"

"An ya didn't stop me" He smirked

"I'm still thinking about how i'm gonna tell him without causing chaos between you too. I don't want Mar getting in between all this" I said rolling my eyes

"You front so hard like you ain't miss me but you only wit dat nigga cause I allow you ta be wit him, y'all wouldn't be togetha if I scooped you up from him" August said laughing

"Cameron's a good guy" I said rolling my eyes putting down my fork

I dusted off imaginary dust off myself getting up from around the table

August got up putting a $50 bill on the table paying for our foods, following me out

"All im sayin is if ya loved dat nigga like ya say ya do, you wouldn't ta came here ta be wit me meanwhile you was just wit him" August said walking me over to my car

"Excuse me for thinking it was an emergency for you to call me at 12 in the afternoon to randomly meet at Waffle House" I said as he opened the door for me

"I want you ta stop by my house for a quick second. I wanna show you something"

"Is that bitch gonna be there?" I asked sternly referring to Nikki

He laughed brushing me off "We done ma"

I nodded "Alright but I have work at 3 so this can't be long"

He smirked "It won't take long ma" He said shutting my door and walking over to his car

I started my engine after he started his and followed his car out

I sighed, I wonder what August wants to show me why it can't wait
