Almost
You were almost mine, but you didn't care at the time.
We were almost in love, but you massacred the doves.
I was almost blind, but I escaped my captivator..my mind.
We were almost friends, but you couldn't stick around until the end.
I was almost stupid, but I shot the arrow at Cupid.
You almost won, but I became the person holding the gun.
We were like a family, but you ripped out my heart and stole my sanity.
