The Dark Circle

The next morning Cassie woke up and was laying on Adam's bare chest. Her eyes widen and quickly got up.

'Oh my god!' She thought and looked under the covers to see if she had clothes on. She had her pajamas on and Adam was wearing his jeans.

"Whew.." She whispered and quietly got up.

"Morning." Adam said and sat up.

"H-hey.. I guess we spent all night talking." Cassie said and smiled.

"Yeah.." Adam got up and put his shirt on.

"So I'ma go wash up.." Cassie quickly went in the bathroom and Adam shrugged.

'Oh my god!! Ugh I wish Adam had feeling for me again.. I love him, but does he love me the same way? I like Jake too.. Maybe I should give up on Adam, he's never going to have feelings for me again." Cassie thought as she brushed her teeth.

Cassie washed her face and walked out.

"Um theres a spare tooth brush in there if you want to wash up." Cassie said and messed with her hair.

"Oh thanks I will then." He said and walked in the bathroom.

It didn't take long for Adam to wash up. Cassie was already dressed.

"So are you coming to the boathouse?" Adam asked and smiled.

"Um actually I have to go meet Jake at the house..." She said and grabbed her keys.

"So you and Jake have your own circle with just the two of you now?" Adam said with a little jealousy in his voice.

"No he's just helping me with something."

"Like what?!"

"Just something it's not important."

"Cassie.."

"Adam its fine don't worry about it."

Then Cassie walked out and drove off. Adam sighed and called Melissa.

"Hello Adam." She answered.

"Hey can you cover my shift again?"

"Cassie again?"

"Uhh yeah something like that.. I'll pay you 70 bucks."

"Fine I'll do it and I'll get Faye to help to."

"Thanks Melissa."

"No problem."

Melissa hanged up and Adam got up and went to the abandon house.

He snuck in and eased dropped on Cassie and Jake:

"Okay so what does it mean?" Cassie said.

"Witch hunters have to learn every witch symbol but I have no clue. All I know is that its the same symbol on the wall and its dark magic." Jake said.

"Are you telling the truth?"

"You don't trust me?"

"Well you were working with the witch hunters."

"I'm done with them I promise."

"Fine..Your saying that my father just made up this symbol?"

"Here look. You family is at the core of black magic."

"Well thats something new.."

"We would have to go threw Blackwell history."

"But I can't find anything about them.."
