so!!!! this april i went to the house of blues in chicago & saw my fav band live!!!!!!
it was awesome & super super fun, i really wanna do it again - the house of blues has this dance floor area with springs under the floorboards, so it bounces when everyones moving around! this band called lowland hum also opened the night, and they were amazing - i love their music a lot and have been listening to it. lowland hum also signed a lyric book i bought! got a shirt too and a sticker
also got pics !!!
the oh hellos (fav band love them):
i have more but those are the best. the oh hellos are pretty energetic (they were dancing around the whole time it was rlly cool!!!) and in the final songs the guitarist actually fell over & kept playing on his back - he was fine but it was p funny!!
lowland hum:
lowland hum have quieter music, but its really good!!! they also told stories between each song, they were pretty funny - like how on their first tour they were accidentally booked at a rock place, even tho they play gentle folk music
anyway if yall want some good new bands to follow - especially if youre a fan of folk rock/folk - i advise checking out the oh hellos & lowland hum!!!!!! and go to the house of blues in chicago if you get the chance its awesome there
