The three of you walk around the area, investigating and searching for any clues as to the deviant and child's whereabouts. The man at the motel hadn't seen anyone, the man in the convenience store insisted that he didn't see where the deviant went. There weren't any cuts on the fences... You sigh tiredly. Where did they go?

The last place you had to search was a closed-off area behind the chained fence. It held an abandoned car, and that was about it. Nothing else was interesting or that important to look at. As you searched around, Connor caught your attention. He was squatting next to the left side of the fence, looking at something.

"There's blue blood on the fence..." He pushes the cut fence back and goes through, you follow suit, he continues to hold the flap open as you enter the yard of an abandoned house.

"I know another android was here." You stand and dust yourself off, then follow Connor to the front of the house.

He peeps through the boarded up window, before stepping back a step. "There's an android in the house." He states calmly. Well then... Not so abandoned.

"The deviant?" You ask, alarmed. You take out your gun instinctively.

"No, it's a different model." His words don't calm you at all. This android could still be dangerous.

With your gun still out, you stand in front of the door with Connor at your side, cautious. You can never be too sure. His hand slowly turns the door handle, pushing it open. You both walk in, your eyes zoning in on the android in front of you. The first thing you notice is the obvious gash on the side of his face. It was very unnerving, but you ignored it. The next thing you noticed and took note of was his nervous body language.

As you both move to stand in front of the android, Connor stares at it for a moment. Probably scanning it or something. Next, he begins interrogating it.

"I'm looking for an AX400. Have you seen it?" He questions calmly.

"Ralph's seen nobody..." The injured android, Ralph, replies curtly.

"Don't be afraid..." Connor tells Ralph nicely. "We aren't going to hurt you." His voice was soft and sweet, different from his usual mechanical speech. Ralph doesn't answer. Your eyes scan the room for any signs of other life, and besides the fire in the fireplace, there was nothing.

But androids don't need heat, so why would this android, Ralph, light a fire? They had to of been here, but you didn't mention it to Connor.

"There's blue blood on the fence. I know another android was here." Connor concludes, his eyes trained on the twitching figure in front of you both.

"Ralph scratched himself coming through..." It stammered. "That's Ralph's blood." It was quite obvious that he was lying, but you pitied the thing. It was probably a deviant, it was probably scared...

You step around the two and move to the fire, a table and chairs sit in front of it. There was some type of animal which you could not identify since it was burnt black sitting next to a plate. Maybe it was cooked on the fire? Speaking of plates... There were three sets of them. Androids also don't even need to eat... This furthered your suspicions.

You then turned to look down at the fire as Connor continued his questioning. It was still burning wood and was emitting enough heat to keep something, or someone, warm. Connor was suddenly beside you, it seems he had reached the same conclusion.

You move from your spot, as does Connor. You decide to look in the room with the door closed, your partner walks off somewhere behind you. You push the door open to reveal something that made a slight shiver run up your spine. The wall was littered with the words 'RA9' and 'I am alive'. Some deviants were weird... You close the door, just about ready to leave this place.
