So, I saw The Defenders, and I remember seeing the episode where Matt recognized Elektra for the first time since she died. I think it was episode 3. Yeah, definitely that episode. Anyway, it inspired this drawing, also inspired by the scene in Captain America The Winter Soldier where Steve saw Bucky again, the brainwashed agent couldn't even remember his own name. Ironically, when this was at the first rough draft where I was starting with Matt's head, my parents saw the crude rough sketch, mistook it for a penis! I had to explain I was trying to draw Daredevil. At least this drawing is a lot more progressive now than it was when I first started. Elektra was actually easy to draw for me, and drawing her in a Bruce Timm style just worked. Enjoy this Winter Soldier homage as it is.
