:: Chapter 3 ::

The following week after the Final Simulation, Karin and Cree finally made it to the day of their sleepover, before the eldest Lincoln's final departure from KND. Within that week, the twins 8a and 8b disappeared without a trace or a clue of their whereabouts. Numbuh 9 (Maurice) informed Karin yesterday that their birthday was two days ago and he found out that they turned thir-TEEN. Karin knew this day would eventually come. It was heart wrenching to see both of her now ex-teammates to have finally turn to the teen side. Cree is up next.

Karin just came home from the Moon Base after finishing printing and signing Certificates for the graduating Cadets Next Door.

She packed her necessities for the sleepover and secretly brought with her 2x4 technologies, just in case of a suspected attacks of teens or adults. But before she left to the Lincoln household, her mother contacted her to do a little errand for her.

The girl brought her younger siblings with her as she remembered buying something for her little graduating Cadet, Kuki, and her baby sister who she has to babysit for a bit - little Mushi.

Kuki, her younger sister, finally graduated from Cadet to an Operative of KND, under the wing of yours truly. Recognition Day is held tomorrow morning at Moonbase Command HQ with her and three other Cadets ready to battle against adult tyranny.

Despite their annoying wails and complaining of her young siblings - Kuki and Mushi - Karin would never ignore their wants and needs, just because she loves them so dearly. With her parents always busy at work, and when they could not find time to spend it with their daughters, she made an effort to make sure they get the attention and playtime they need. 

After finishing her mother's errand, Karin took her siblings to Mr. Jelly's candyshop. The look on little Kuki melted her big sister's heart. 

Kuki ran in and began looking for her favorite candies with Karin holding on to Mushi in her arms as they walked in. She began plucking each kinds of candy she can get in the variety of cubbies in the shop, while Karin shrugged off her hyper active little sis. Karin grabbed a lollipop, big enough for Mushi to consume.

"Thank you so much for the bag of candy and lollipop Mr. Jelly." Karin slightly bowed her head down.

The jolly candy man waved a 'Goodbye' to the girls before they left his shop. "No problem kids! Make sure to stop by for more candy! There are plenty more where that came from~!" 

"Bye bye Mr. Jelly!" hollered all Sanban siblings as they made their way out of the small shop.

The Sanban siblings walked towards their way back home while Kuki and Mushi generously ate their candies.

Karin spoke up. "Are there any Strawberry flavored Laughing Taffies left in your bag Kuki?" Karin asked as she remembered craving for some right after her mother told her of this little errand.
