About an hour later, I found myself pulling up to Kiyanne's mother house. The sun was beginning to set as some neighborhood kids rode their skateboards in the street and some drew on the side walks of Compton using their buckets of colorful chalk to outline the pavement. I'd rather see kid's drawings then homicide chalk outlines any day. Keeping my head down, trying not to be noticed I walked up to Kiyanne porch and rung the doorbell. I waited a few moments before I watch the door open.

I couldn't help but to let my eyes wander at the sight of her. She was so breathtaking up close. It looked as if she had light makeup on to cover up the scars she once had this morning and her hair laid beautifully on her shoulders. Kiyanne was a petite girl but she still was shapely. Her body is what you would call slim thick. And I can live with that.

"Hey Andre...I mean Dre." She spoke to me with a smooth even tone. "I didn't think you was gonna come."

"Why?" I asked as I took a step into the house. "I told you I was coming, didn't I?"

I smiled as I looked back at Kiyanne, who was closing the house door. She rubbed her hands down her jeans before nervously smiling. "Why you so nervous for girl?"

"Not everyday you have a superstar Inside your home where you grew up."

"I thought we was past that when you spent the night?"

Kiyanne exhaled deeply as she slowly walked over to the golden toned reclining chair. I eyed her as she glanced at me, pointing to the match couch for me to take a seat. I sat down and looked at the floor. Silence. This was weird as fuck.

"So, what's up? You asked me to come through for a reason. What you got for me?" I asked, cutting straight to the point.

Kiyanne was taken aback by my blunt demeanor. She licked her lips and stared at me for a moment.

"I just wanted to hang that's all. And to thank you for the sandals you gave me."

I laughed and shook my head. "That's all? And you thanked me fifty times already. It aint no problem girl."

"I know. I just want you to know how appreciative I am."

"Don't worry about it. You ate dinner already?" I asked as I began to stand up and walking over towards Kiyanne.

"I ate some Rice Krispies. Why?"

I sat down on the arm of the chair and looked at Kiyanne. I licked my lips as I began to speak.
"I'm saying if you wanna grab something to eat we can go hit up Mom's Burgers over there on Alondra. I'm saying...If you hungry." I said as I caressed her shoulder.

Kiyanne got noticeably quiet but sat there with a shy smile.

"Yea...We can do that." She replied, standing up. "Let me grab my bag."

She began to walk up the hallway to retrieve her purse and I couldn't help but admire her physique.  I don't know what type of time this girl is on, but I will say;

I'm liking this shit.
