"I have made it clear, Della, that I want a divorce from you. Enough of these misunderstandings and fights. I want our relationship to end. It'll be better if you sign these divorce papers now because I'll give you 35% of my wealth and I am ready to keep Dellrick with me or if you want him I am ready to pay for his expenses till he turns 18." Saying this Rick kept the divorce papers on the table and sat on a chair in the living room.

Della couldn't believe what Rick just said. She couldn't even believe he was her Rick, the same Rick whose heart shattered into seeing her in pain, the same Rick who loved her unconditionally. Although she knew from some months before that he was having an affair with someone because she saw lipstick marks on his shirts and sometimes there was women's hair on his coat. She even heard him talking lovingly with someone at night. Many times she confronted him but each time he only fought with her.

She never expected to see this day in her life. Now her only wish was that all those years back it should have been her in the car instead of her parents. She thought she would rather die than to divorce Rick.

She just left the room and went into her bedroom. Yes, her bedroom because months before, Rick started sleeping in their guestroom.

After a while, she heard Rick going out and then the sound of his car's engine.

She knew he wouldn't return that night. At first, he used to make excuses of going in the office for some emergency and then afterwards he would text her that he'll be late and so he'll just stay in the office but today he didn't even make an excuse. She knew where he went and where he used to go.

She took out her book in which she had been writing for days and she began to write. After writing for a while she kept the book and slept beside Dellrick. Tears began to flow from her eyes. Looking at Dellrick reminded her how they once shared an undying love and named him after their names as a symbol of their love. Tears began to flow from her eyes and continued to flow until she fell asleep.
