Two weeks had passed since Taeyong's last encounter with Jaehyun. Two weeks since their hug. Two weeks since they somehow became friends.

Unfortunately Taeyong didn't have much time to think about that because finals were approaching and he was studying. He was horribly tired but he couldn't care less- he had to do good. He had to do as good as the last years because if there was one thing he definetely he didn't want to do, it was staying at school. He had to finish as soon as possible and get another job to support his family.

But of course he could never. Not when he had friends so stupid- friends who came up with the dumbest ideas possible.

''You want me to do what?'' Taeyong said loudly, not believing his ears. ''Yuta, I'm not here to comfort your crybaby boyfriend! I'm supposed to be studying!''

''Taeyong, what did you ask me to do and I didn't do?'' Yuta pleaded, sounding like was on the verge of crying.

''I don't know, let me give you a very recent example: I asked you to not break anything and you put my toaster on fire.''

''You didn't ask me anything like that!'' Yuta shot back. He sighed. ''Look, just this once, do as I say.''

Taeyong rolled his eyes. Yuta was acting like Taeyong had seriously never done anything for him. ''Okay, tell me what I have to do.''

''Yes, thank you, my dear friend,'' Taeyong could pretty much hear him smiling. ''All you have to do is go to Johnny's dorm- he's roommates with Sicheng. He told me that Sicheng was crying because he thought that something was seriously wrong but seriously, nothing's that bad.''

''Why is Sicheng the one crying anyways?'' Taeyong huffed, slowly getting up and gathering his stuff. ''You're the one with the emergency.''

Yuta didn't respond for some time. The line was silent except for the white noise. It was a little over ten seconds after that when the Japanese man spoke.

''I guess,'' Yuta's voice softened over the phone, filling with fondness. ''He cares.''

Taeyong couldn't help but smile.

Taeyong knocked on the door of the dorm as he looked around. This place did indeed look expensive- exactly why he hadn't moved in.

He could hear the cries and sniffles coming from the other side of the wall and he had no doubt it was Sicheng. Needless to say, he was very concerned- both for Sicheng and himself. How was he supposed to calm him down?

The door flew open, making Taeyong take a step back. A panicked Mark was standing n front of him, looking horribly troubled.

''Taeyong hyung, finally,'' he breathed, taking a step sideways to open Taeyong's way. ''We thought we were seriously done for!''

Taeyong almost couldn't believe the scene he saw. It was sad yet ridiculous.

Sicheng, just like Yuta had told him, was crying softly into a blue pillow. It seemed like he was rejecting the comforting touches Johnny was trying to give him because he was swinging his feet around in the top bunk, hitting Johnny several times in the process.

''Oh dear,'' Taeyong said, speechless. ''So this was why you needed my help.''

''Stop starin and come help,'' Johnny hissed and hopped down the stairs of the bunk. Taeyong quickly made his way to Johnny's previous spot on the stairs, sighing in the process. He glared at Johnny and finally averted his attention to Sicheng completely.
