Taeyong walked as swiftly as possible, hand rummaging through his jean's pocket unknowingly his pocket to get his keys. He was a little scared of opening the door because he knew that there was a big chance Yuta was still there. And Yuta being there meant that Taeyong wouldn't be allowed to choose his own clothes.

He really regretted giving keys to him.

As soon as he opened the door, his nose filled with a burnt smell. He couldn't say he was particularly surprised, but that didn't stop him from rushing inside to see what damage his Japanese friend had done.

He threw himself in the kitchen, gasping when he saw that his toaster was on fire.

''What the fuck?!'' he shouted, unplugging the toaster immediately. He was thankful now for all those hours spent on WikiHow.

He took a towel from the cabinet and splashed the contents of the stray water bottle on the counter. He probably would've thought better about what he was doing if the fire wasn't that big but it was big and Taeyong was panicking. So instead of calmly putting the wet towel on the burning toaster, he threw it and screamed.

Yuta and Ten burst into the room, faces contorting into an expression of horror. Taeyong threw himself on Yuta, holding the taller by his collar. He was sure he looked like a bloodthirsty cannibal to Yuta right now but he really couldn't bring himself to care.

''One, why are you here with Ten,'' Taeyong yelled in the man's ear, Yuta wincing and trying to pry Taeyong's fingers off his neck. ''Two, why and how in the actual fuck did you manage to put my toaster on fire?!''

''Get off of me,'' Yuta groaned, Taeyong retreating slowly. ''Look, I'm sorry, okay?''

''I didn't ask for an apology, I asked how and why,'' Taeyong folded his arms, not even looking at Ten, meaning he couldn't see the man's annoyingly huge smirk.

''Well,'' Yuta bit his lip, thinking of how to escape the question. ''What about a deal?''

His confidence seemed to return a little when he saw Taeyong signaling him to go ahead.

''I'll replace your toaster with a better one and you'll forget that this ever happened.''

Taeyong narrowed his eyes. He didn't want to lose to Yuta and he'd probably regret thlis, but they also had to go to a party right now. Yuta extended his hand, looking at Taeyong hopefully. Taeyong sighed in defeat and shook his hand.

''I want you to get this exact toaster,'' Taeyong said, already walking towards his room. Ten held his arm, still smiling. Yuta grinned and threw the melting toaster in the trash.

Ten clapped his hand, excited. ''Now that that's  done, we can finally move on the the important stuff.''

Taeyong hated them for this.

''I don't wanna go there looking like I want to flaunt,'' Taeyong whined. Ten rolled his eyes.

''Look, you're missing the point, Taeyong, okay? You're pretty, skinny and gay. Why in the fuck not boast?''

Taeyong didn't have anything to say to that.

''Besides, we know you're a sucker for attention,'' Yuta smiled innocently at him. ''So this'll get you even more looks!''

Taeyong knew every single thing they said were true. He didn't think he was pretty if he was being honest but he had heard it so much that he had no choice but to just go with it.  And yes, it was true that he was a sucker for attention- or rather, he was made for gathering attention.
