Kofi's Mate

Chapter 5

MICHEAL
After escaping, Micheal knew he would only be safe if he found the pack of rouges he'd been hearing rumors about. Finding them shacked up deep in the woods in a huge cave he knew they would be a bit off thier rockers, what he found was a lot worse than he expected.
They had 20 rouges more then he'd ever heard grouping up together, and for then to have lasted so long was beyond him. When ever rouges tried to make their own pack everyone wanted to be alpha sooner or later, and they endes up going crazy and killing each other. As soon as he reached the part of the cave they were living he was immediately brought to the appointed leader Robert, who then explained his sinister plans. Robert was a doctor and scientist who was infatuated with genetics and found a way to make wolves stonger and more obedient to him. So thats how he kept all of them under control. Knowing he had no place to go and drinking the kool-aid. Robert was feeding his followers all of his worries just faded away. Robert had kept him in the cave so that he wouldn't cause any attention but now he was ready to put his plans in motion and Micheal was the perfect candidate to do it.

Finally John and Lance had spotted Micheal shifting into his wolf and going into the woods to hunt. After letting Kofi and Idris know they shifted and followed him after about 5 min of following his scent they reached a abandoned farm house. By the time they got there Morris and 3 other officers/wolve had caught up and met John and Lance to go over thier game plan. They wood set up a perimeter and make sure if he wouldn't get away this time. Morris placed his men and took John and Lance with him inside after clearing the first floor they heard moving upstairs. Proceeding caucously they got ready to light him with tranquilizers.
Just as they turned the corner upstairs they spotted him facing the wall at the end of the hall. He looked significantly bigger then they last remembered. Just as they began shooting, Micheal turned around and came running full force towards them. He should have dropped from all of the shots they fired, but he didn't. He didn't even feel the the darts, leaping he attched the first thing he could with the intent to kill.

As Kofi reaches Mia's room he could hear talking and laughing . Yaya and Sky, Kofi's sister, were sitting next to Mia's bed giggling and conversing.

Kofi: What are you guys doing back so soon? I thought you wouldn't be back from Daniel's till next week.
Yaya: Yea we decided to come back early. We couldn't wait to meet Mia.
Kofi: Okay you met her now you can go.
Mia: No they were just telling me about the time you broke your brother's nose and yours at the same time.
Kofi: Really? That story?
They talking and laughing for about a hour. Then all of a sudden they heard a mas of commotion. Isaiah was yelling for everyone to get a room ready. Kofi, Yaya and Sky ran into the hall to see Lance being carried in by Morris and John. All they could see was blood everywhere, all over both Morris and John, but Lance's left arm was a bloody mess. It looked like it had been horribly mutilated.

John kept talking to Lance trying to comfort him. Not knowing if he could even hear him or not "Lance you're gonna be fine man. Isaiah's gonna get you up and running, You'll be good as new."
They got Lance in a room, cut his top off, got a IV running, hooked up some leads to read his cardiac rhythms, and then assessing his arm. Kofi stopped behind John, seeing the blood spewing out on the floor.
"What the fuck happened? Is all that blood Lance's ?" Kofi asked worried.

John looked at him and slowly nodded his head.
"We shot him with so many tranquilizers, but he jumped Lance before he passed out. That rogue needs to be put down. He did all that damage in seconds. I can't imagine what he could have done of we had not all been shooting him at the same time. We had to pry his jaws off even after he was out. I thought Lance was going to bleed out before we got here."

Yaya was standing in the doorway looking in, trying to comprehend what was going on. She was bent on watching Isaiah and his assistants working to save Lance's life. She suddenly realized Mia was standing next to her, barely holding on to the wall standing. "You shouldn't be up and out of bed Mia." She wisperered, not wanting to upset Kofi to hear. "You don't want to see this. I'll take you back to your room"

Mia was watching dumb struck "What happened? Was he shot?" She started shaking and started to became unstable she was about to fall. Sky caught her and held her up with one arm. Mia thought to herself that Sky must work out for her to be so strong, strong enough to hold her up with one hand. She looked to only be about 15 or 16.

They all made their way back to her room as Idris passed by and made his way to Lance's room. He spoke quietly to the men. "We need to let them work while we get this sittuated, Yaya stay here with John and keep him out of the way." Yaya nodded. "Kofi, Moriss, with me." The three walked down the hallway while Sky was helping Mia back into her bed. Sky made a motion for her to stay put and walked into the hall.

"Morris, what the hell happened?" Idris pretty much already knew but still waited for the answer from his Beta.

"We found Gary in a farm our back in the woods, and he did that after being hit with 7 darts! I had James take him into the holding cell."

"Micheal's here?" Kofi turned and ran. "Dead! He is fucking Dead!"

Mia couldn't hear what was being said but she watched as Kofi took off running out of the hospital with Idris , Morris , and Sky running after him telling his to wait and not to do anything crazy. Without thinking, she just knew she needed to see what the hell was going on . She took a few breaths, and braced herself , before getting out of the bed. She stayed close to the wall to keep herself from falling. She stopped frequently to catch her breath. She was able to follow the yelling to find her way. She had to see, she just somehow knew it was important.
