Chapter 14: And She Appears--!?

CHAPTER 14: AND SHE APPEARS--!?

Mitsuki's POV

Just... wow. I really liked how I left the scene really awesomely, but.. now I'm lost. I groan. How do I get lost so easily!? I sit, trying to concentrate. I really don't want to do this, but...

"Hello."

"Hello, Mitsuki," they whisper, amused. "You haven't spoken to us for a long time, child."

"Yes.. I'm sorry." It's not like I can tell them that I don't want this ability. I try to keep the conversation nice and quick. "Please tell me where my team is."

"Turn around and go the other way," they laugh.

I feel my face heating up. I've been going the wrong way the whole time!? "Erm.. thanks," I whisper.

"Do speak to us more often, child," they murmur. "We missed your voice."

I run as fast as I can trying to outrun them, but they follow me, chuckling. I let out a grumble, still attempting to lose them. But then again, who can outrun the wind?

                 . . . . . . . . . 

Mist surrounds me as I run. I frown a bit. This is a little familiar..

I groan as I accidentally read someone's mind. His voice.. I know him.. who..? "Those eyes..! It can't be..! Sharingan!?"

 I land on the bridge. I breathe in sharply when I see the chaos in front of me. Kaka-sensei is fighting Zabuza, Saku-chan is standing in front of Tazu-san. They don't seem to notice me, so I step towards the giant ice dome.

I stare in shock. Naru-kun is on the ground, a bunch of needles sticking out of him. Chibi-kun is kneeling, needles popping out of his back. A boy in a mask is in the ice mirror, talking. I lean in closer.

"..There's a limit on how long I can keep up his speed. Most likely, the longer this fight goes on, the better you will be able to read my movements. So.." "Attacking him head on could be dangerous.. I'll use that kid to bring him to me." 

I jump up when I finally recognize who he is.

"HAKU-CHAN!" I yell.

The boy stops and turns around. Chibi-kun looks up, startled.

"Tsuki?" "Mitsuki?" They both speak at the same time, and they both stare at each other in surprise.

"How do you know Tsuki?" Haku-chan exclaims.

"How do you know Mitsuki?" Chibi-kun demands.

They point at each other. "How do you know him!?"

Haku's POV

I smile a bit as I remember how Tsuki and I had first met..

I wake up inside a cold jail room made of iron, my head pulsing with pain. I'm chained to the wall next to a girl with white hair. She stares at me with her green inquisitive eyes. "Hey," she says, "who are you?"
