peaceful chaos

When I look at the night sky,

That delightful abyss of stars,

I'm in a new world.

This world mutes all chaos,

Blocks out obnoxious sounds,

Ends unjustified hatred,

Makes a fool out of lies,

It kills the true world,

That true world of life I hate.

•

In this new world,

It is peaceful,

Content,

A place of quiet grace.

•

And then I drop my head down,

The lies are shouted at my face,

Clear unjustified hatred in the tone,

And overall emptiness.
