"(Y/N), you're late!" My mum shouted from downstairs.

"Late for what?" I shouted down in retaliation, not knowing why on earth she was waking me up so early.

It was 9:53am.

"Chan's here for you!" She shouted, I then realized why.

Chan is my childhood friend, both of us being from Australia and moving to Korea, he moved to pursue his dreams whereas I moved for education.

Today I was going to meet his members, and needed to go early as they had practice in the afternoon.

"How long have you been here?" I asked Chan, grabbing my coat as he played Fortnite on his phone.

"Half an hour. Your mum's been shouting up for ages." Chan said, I chuckled awkwardly.

He put his phone away, said goodbye to my parents and walked out, closely followed by me.

"So we're going to meet the boys where?" I asked, Chan sitting in his car, as he was driving.

"A café." He said, starting up the engines.

"When did you learn to drive?" I asked, we were the same age but I still hadn't learnt.

"18." He said, taking a turn out of my driveway and onto the streets, we were both now 20.

"So, tell me there names again." I said to Chan.

"So there's Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N." He said, and I made a mental note whilst saying their names over and over outloud.

"Ok, they know about you, so don't be nervous." He said, sending me tense up as he parked by the café.

"What do they know though? How do I know you haven't been having on me behind my back?" I said, poking him as he rolled his eyes.

"As if I would... you're my 'homie' as Jae would say." He said, I laughed so hard at his American accent.

I followed him in, the café was empty except for one woman sitting by the window on her laptop, I guess we were waiting for them.

We ordered drinks for them, sitting down at a table with 10 seats and waited.

I was super nervous: Chan, sensing this, quickly grabbed my hand.

"Yah!" I said to him, quietly but he didn't let go. His hand was really warm, and was bigger than mine so I warmed up and my nerves subsided slightly.

He squeezed my hand as they walked through the door and didn't even release my hand until they came over.

"Ooh, do I see some hand holding over there?" A tall-ish boy with blonde hair and small features said, introducing himself as Woojin.

They then introduced themselves in age order, my gaze passing over all of them.

"You're all so good looking, it's great to meet you." I said, smiling giddily.

"Aww noona, you're prettier!" I.N, or Jeongin as some callee him, said, I think he was the maknae.

"Thank you." I said, smiling and looking at Chan who just stared at me.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, he shook his head and turned away.

When we were walking over to the car after we had met with the boys, I asked Chan what he meant and he did so much to avoid the question.

"If you're avoiding the questions, it shows you want more to hide?" I said, he nodded sheepishly.

"What Jeongin said wasn't false." He said quietly, "You are really pretty."

Even though it was hard to hear him over the sounds from outside and the motorway, I could understand what he had said.

"Wait, did BANG CHAN SAY I WAS PRETTY? As in, THE Bang Chan?" I asked, laughing at the nonsense Chan was saying.

"Yep, you're not just pretty, you're fucking beautiful." He said, and I felt my heart skip a beat. "And to answer your question, this is why I was staring at you earlier, you just made me think."

"Chan..." I said, realizing where this was going.

"No, listen to me (Y/n)..." He said, knowing how stubborn I was and how I couldn't take compliments, let alone confessions.

"I like you." He said, and I almost fainted.
