Chapter two:

...Chloe's POV...
I am currently In the carriage sitting across from the young boy and the demon.

"You must be wondering who we are by now. I am Ciel Phantomhive and this is my butler Sebastian. I am earl and head of the phantomhive estate. I also carry the title of the queens guardgod and this is what brings us here today. She has given us a case regarding 16 children mysteriously gone missing.
Thenforth, 
I would like to apologize for doubting your abilities earlier on on. You seemed to have given us some very useful information."

"That is quite alright.. umm my lord?" I exclaim uncertain. I assume that is how I should address him now. I mean, that is what his butler calls him. I am still not familiar with the honourifics  here in England.

"What compelled you to want to go into the fortune telling business Miss Silverado?" The boys stares at me intensely with his sharp blue eye.

" No need for formalities. Please, call me Chloe, and my whole family has been doing it for years. It is a gift passed on through the generations."

" I concur. You truly are gifted." says Sebastian

He smiles deviously at me, and as he stares into my eyes I see a flash of pink quickly appear
in his pupils.

I look away slightly flustered. The look he gave me was almost lascivious and sent a shiver down my spine. It seems as if he is trying to play games.

I refuse to fall for his trap. My mother used to tell me stories of demons seducing women only to send them down to hell with them. I know how they see the world and we are nothing but prey to them.

Moments later, the carriage comes to a stop

"It seems we have arrived."
Says Sebastian

He then proceeds to escort Ciel out of the carriage and then myself.

I then take a look at the mansion. It was gigantic. I have never seen a house like it. They definitely do not have homes such as this where I come from,

We are now inside the manor and Sebastian is helping Ciel remove his coat.

"I am leaving to retire now Miss Silverado. Sebastian will show you to your room. I wish you a goodnight"
Ciel begins to walk up the long elegant staircase.

"May I take your coat Miss Silverado?"

"Yes you may" I hand Sebastian my coat.

"This way please, and I will show you to your chambers for the night."

The walk there is quiet and I can't help but feel slightly on edge walking alone through the eerie hallways of the mansion with Sebastian. I make sure to keep a safe distance between him and I.

I then remember what I am here for. I am here for research.
I have to act boldly, and soon given that I only have one night in this manor.

"So, I assume you have made some sort of contract with Ciel and that is why you are posing as a butler"

Sebastian turns around and looks at me.

Plastered on his face is another one of his devious smiles.

" you certainly are a curious one" he exclaims before continuing to walk down the halls
