her blue eyes gloss over as she watches the young woman on the other side of the glass.
"leave her alone, david."
luna spins around and wraps her arms around the older boys torso. his hugs weren't like zach's, but they were all she had.
"no! she's a spoiled little brat that did nothing to help her goddamned mother!"
the man reaches forward and slaps her.
not luna, her best friend.
"lauren!"
the boy releases luna and walks up the man, pushing him away from the two girls.
"this is what you wanted and this is what you deserve, venus kimber!"
