Your POV

I wasn't exactly your average college gal. Sure, I had the amazing grades, but I couldn't help but get my fellow college boys to fall in love with me. Why I did it? No idea. It just became a hobby. They just called me the Heartbreaker.

I've gotten almost all the boys, and now I was moving on to my next victim, or should I say victims; the group of boys that dubbed themselves the Hamilsquad... whatever that means. They were: Alexander Hamilton, John Laurens, Hercules Mulligan, and Marquis de Lafayette. Personally, John caught my eye first, so I knew I'd save him for last. But first, Alexander Hamilton...

Rule number one, is that you gotta have fun...

He was quite easy, even with him and his friends knowing my title. After he had cheated on his girlfriend since high school, Elizabeth Schuyler, with my close friend Maria Reynolds, he was left vulnerable. I knew if I played the innocent game just right, I could get him. My innocent game consisted of my pretending I didn't want to be who I was anymore; a player. Threw in fake crying, and I won him over. For being considered so smart, he fell for me too fast.

...but baby when you're done, you gotta be the first to run.

It lasted maybe a month, then I knew I had to run off. Alexander knew deep down I was a player, but he was so in love. That was how it always went. They knew, but they always stayed anyways. I acted extra nice toward him; helped him when he needed it, cuddled, all that. Then, I got up and left him, leaving him crying to his friends.

Next person: Lafayette.

Rule number two, just don't get attached to, somebody you could lose, so le-let me tell you...

I knew Lafayette tried his hardest not to fall for me, he really did. He knew it was betraying his friend, but soon enough he fell too. Lafayette was certainly a fun one, he was such a flirt. Our relationship was pretty intimate. He even went as far to not tell his friends about me, or why he was late to their meetings. I almost felt guilty leaving him, the relationship lasting as long as Alexander's. I didn't think he'd get so attached, he was more broken than Alexander was, yet they weren't mad at him for some reason, even when they knew it was me.

This is how to be a heartbreaker. Boys they like a little danger.

My tactics were almost always the same. I acted innocent, boys fell for it. I 'cried', they felt sympathy. I remember even seeing fights between friends over relationships with me. Girls questioned me, yelled at me for being the cause of their lost boyfriends, but I was never bullied. No one ever hurt me. Intimate boys like Lafayette were always fun. They liked the romance, the danger, something they knew well I was capable of.
