Well we had a spic macay trip (its a society/community which conserve n promote Indian cultural dance n art forms plus musics) It was an awesome experience though our schedule was really tight but we had managed. For the cherry on top we have got a chance to meet with the Padam bhushan n Padam shri awrdees (Indian artists) n learn under there guidelines. they were our guru.😍
I opted for patua painting. It's an Indian art form where artists use natural colors n handmade brushes. the word patua here means a piece of cloth. We have to make our own color from various types of leaves,seeds and fruits. The brushes were so fine. This painting is basically made on art sheet then mount with cotton/muslin clothes then final framing. My guru (teacher ) was Mrs.Monimala Chokrobarti (ma'am)
