From the shadows, I watch you carry on with your life,

You swore you had changed, but you lied again.

I see the spaces I left have been quickly refilled,

I don't see you stop and reflect back on your past.

Saying you ever loved me was a sick, twisted joke,

I wish I had the courage to have seen it before.

I curse every last tear that has been shed over you,

I curse myself and everyone else for falling for your lies.

It never was you I loved, aways the man I wished you were,

It wasn't you that broke my heart, it was the truth.
