Now You're Gone

Just when my life's complete,

It breaks down all over again.

You lit up my world, my life,

And now you're going away.

Nothing's perfect, I should've known,

My happiness has gone with you.

Stay friends? Just so I can be reminded,

Of the one who just walked away.

Call me selfish, call me stupid,

But when I talk to you, my heart breaks again,

I'd give up my home, my life, my soul,

Just to have you fix my broken heart.

You talk to me, the tears run again,

You act like a stranger, not the one I love,

My heart is broken, bleeding, all over again,

And now I have no body to patch it up,

You will move on, find a better somebody,

But I will remain trapped forever more.

I'd like to say I hate you now,

But that would be a lie.
