Learning How To Loose

Losing someone is like something dying inside,

You feel so hollow, empty, like an empty glass.

They lost the fight against life, it was inevitable,

They didn't give up though, they fought till the end.

Cry for them, but know they've moved on,

To a place of happiness, with no pain but joy.

The ache will fade, but it will never really stop,

You just learn to embrace it and live on.

It's hard when your loss is set in stone,

On the stone that lies on their grave.

It's a difficult thing to get used to, losing someone,

But you have to, you can't live your life mourning.

You can try and shift the load it puts on you,

But you will find out that it won't budge,

You just have to learn how to carry it.

Live with a hole for someone to fill.
